Under normal circumstances, I'd say you're right. Assuming you have the capability to protect her, which we'll say you do for the sake of argument. But... Please forgive me, lady, I cannot express this properly. I'm a soldier, not a sage.

The... Original Shion would not be in anymore danger than usual, since they would remain where they are with the original you. But if there was another with you then she would be in potential danger, without changing the original's circumstances at all. So, if I'm right... It would be increasing the chances of a threat to the one you want to protect without benefit to anyone.

And I am a weapon. You explanation is satisfactory. You appear to be referring to a theory involving multiple universes and how Shion and I would not be the originals.

Well, that's about what I'm trying to say. Evidence suggests it's so.

That can't be argued with. But in the other hand, wouldn't it actually be better for their to be no Shion counterpart? That'd mean no danger.
