I do wonder what you've been doing all this time, though.

In the workshop? What are you working on? [He crosses his arms, not looking pleased about something.] I hope you're eating more than just ramen!
[Oh, she's human? But even he knows ramen isn't the best of foods.]

Things. And stuff.
[ real descriptive there, Gumi. ]
Of course I .... am not! Though I do tend to have a ton of bags of baby carrots in my mini-fridge. That's something else. Right?

[Because that money is for eggplants...]
Yes, that's something else... [He doesn't look as pleased, but it will suffice.]

I'll be glad to see him whenever the munfolk can arrange it. I know mine is kinda busy right now herself and all, what with the family moving to a new place and work drama and whatever else there is in her own life.

Every time I go to actually be social and get out of the workshop, I come up with some new idea that I have to try and work out that second. And then I spend hours upon hours in there, hours turn into days, days to months, months to years ...
You get the idea. It's a vicious cycle.
