Some place called Ink City you're trying to send me off to, huh? Ugh, can't say I'm thrilled, but I am curious if there's a lot of robots and technology...

Nothing that the suits themselves have caused. [For the most part.] And if your tech is so much better than hers is, why has she outsmarted you every time?

Zach, there's nothing "lucky" about why we've been able to beat you so many times.

[Zach's frowning really hard at this, his foot tapping in annoyance. Boy these brothers got under his skin- but there was something about Chris in particular he seemed to really be unable to stand. Then again, Martin wasn't any better...]

Oh yeah? So why do you think that is then, huh Chris? If it isn't sheer luck?

[Which- he seems pretty convinced still that it is.]

[It's gotta be all the rule making. Chris always was a stickler for rules and order.]

Skill! And the fact that you-- [And yes, he jabs a finger to Zach's chest here.] --never seem to learn.

[Zach takes a small step back, eyeing Chris with a look that can only be interpreted as disgust.]

That's what you think! [Then he mutters under his breath to himself.] And I don't think it's me who needs to do some learning around here...

And what's that supposed to mean?

[Zach smiles snidely, not expecting for Chris to have been able to hear him, but is happy he did nonetheless.]

Oh? It just means I think you, your no-good brother- and your entire Wild RATTS crew need to learn to stay out of my way for once in your lives! Sure I've....[Here comes that nasty smile again, as he taps his chin thoughtfully.] I maay have....been the first to make a move a few times here and there, but that's only because you clowns lead me to do it!

[He snickers, watching Chris now with a broad grin on his face.]

Oh yes, really. Do you have a problem with that?

Yes, in the sense that none of it's true. The only one responsible for your actions is you, Zach.

[He's got a point there. It's not something anyone can deny, but Zach is rejecting the thought with every fiber of his being right about now. The more Chris proves him wrong, the angrier he gets. He's running out of comebacks too, so now he's seething]

Says YOU!! [He almost screams this, grinding his teeth together with aggrivation. Nevertheless though, he really can't think of anything else to come back with.

[And he laughs a bit, as if in disbelief.] That's the best you can come back with?

[Wow ok. Zach's so upset at this point he's trembling, clenching and unclenching his fists at his sides.]

Ooohhhhh just- just-!

[He leans back a bit and puts his hands up, but he doesn't actually seem all that worried.]

Whoa, simmer down Zach, before you blow a blood vessel.

[Probably too late for that, but he does back down a little, breathing heavily. He stiffly brushes his hair back before hissing.]

See? See!? You're just-..proving my point right there! You won't leave me alone- you have to keep coming back at me- and keep it going-

You and Martin have done me like this ever since we were kids!

What, and you expect us to just ignore you? [His expression flattens as he counts on his fingers.] One, you hurt animals, which is against everything we're for. Two, you hurt yourself, and come on, nobody's heartless enough to ignore that. [His eyes flick to stare directly at Zach's, oozing disapproval.] ALMOST nobody anyway.

And three, you make it sound as if we hunt you down, which is just not true! We stumble across each other, more often than not.

To be honest? I would prefer being ignored. [He really has no choice but to listen as Chris lists off the reasons refuting WHY he's not being ignored, but they fall on deaf ears.] I-...Well-...

[Gee, getting harder and harder to explain yourself away, isn't it? That happens when you really ARE doing bad things, and everyone but you knows it.]

Maybe if you remembered a lesson from time to time, these things wouldn't keep happening.

[Again, a very good point- one he didn't at all want to listen to. He makes a face and turns away from Chris slightly, glancing up to look at the sky.] Rrghh...

For once in your life, why don't you just try? You may like the results.

[Frowning hard at that, Zach stands without responding for a few moments, staring down at his shoes. It was true, he'd never really tried being kind in...well any way to the Kratt Brothers or the crew. Yet....ever since they were kids it had been this way. How was it even possible to start now? It wasn't as if they went out of their way to be kind to HIM either.]

[He laughed a bit, shrugging slightly with a wry half-smile.] For one thing, we'd probably leave you alone.
