No way! You mean they meant for it to operate like that?! .. And to think I was going to offer to help clean it up for everyone.

[Sounds somber for the following] What will become of those journals if no one goes around debugging the place?

[Snaps back to reality when Reize calls to him like that. Nods and with a light laugh.]

Yeah, I'm alright! It'll take more than something like this to stop me.

[He neglects to mention that when his own work is complete that he'll be reset and lose all his own memories.. making lost memories in general more of a touchy subject. Returns the smile, glad to hear the other agree.]

Even a small star shines in the darkness... [Sora repeated committing to memory but something else takes his attention soon after]

Woah! You're a knight?!

[A smile brightens on the boy.]

Not really. My father was one, or was referred to as a knight. He never served an official kingdom, but the people referred to him as a knight for the deeds that he's done. I am trying to surpass my father.

I am Reize Seatlan, just an explorer.

[Whether it the boy or his father, Sora was still impressed]

You're father sounds like quite a guy to have a reputation like that! How many of those "knight vows" do you remember?

[Holds out a hand to the other boy] The name's Sora, and I.. guess you could say I've been doing some exploring myself.

[He rub the back of his had, giving a sheepish smile as he tries to remember.]

I can recall about a hundred of the vows. My dad instilled them in me!

[He extends his hand out to shake the hand.]

Great! Hopefully our travels lead us to cross paths again! I've been trying to follow a star that had passed by in the air. ...It tends to lead me in my journey and be able to help those in need!

[Shakes his head]

I never knew that knights had to follow so many teachings. Hey, but I'm sure the guys will all appreciate number 14! [the guys = Donald, Mickey, Goofy, Jiminy, and Riku]

[It's always nice to make a new friend]

That would be great! [Looks up to the sky briefly but doesn't see this star of Reize's] That really does sound like an adventure. I've just been going where the others have sent me... for the most part. You be careful out there, all right? [Looking back at Reize] If you see any stray blox lying around, call me and I'll take care of them for you.

Hee, sometimes, I think that my father made it up for me. But, that's okay! They're good guidelines to follow.

[He brightens his cheerful smile.]

Don't worry, I will be careful. My travels have brought me to danger, but..

[He pauses, blinking in surprise when his pendant reacts. A bright glow emits from the strange object, sparks of magic resonates around him.]

It tends to act like this at odd times. Ne-nevertheless...

[He has a grin on his face.]

If any stray blox comes around, I'll let you know!

[He can't help but laugh a little]

That's a good way to look at it either way.

[Sora is about to ask, "What kind of danger?" but that's when the pendant reacts. As a reflex, he takes a step back and stares at the pendant.]

What's going--?

[on? but Reize already explained it... sort of] Is it trying to tell you something?

Thanks! It's my duty to get rid of those things. [Motions to himself with one thumb]

...I was given this pendant when I was 8 years old. It was a gift for my bravery for keeping one of the monsters from getting the younger kids. I recently discovered that the pendant is a fragment of a shooting star.

It reacts to magic around and it lets me see the magical energies around. It's neat, in a way. But it seems that it's a bit weak still.

[He grins.] I just hope I don't have to deal with those stray blox, then.

[Smiles brightly]

You really are a hero-in-training aren't you? If you ever get the chance you should stop by the Olympus if you really want to test your skills. [Looks to the pendant again]

Something like that must come in handy! When it decides to work... A real shooting star..

They can be quite a handful. Oh.. another word of warning.. if you see any fiery looking blox.. DON'T TOUCH THEM. Those blox will explode on contact... I found that out the hard way.

[He reaches a hand behind the back of his head, rubbing against it while carrying a sheepish smile.]

Hahhaa, I suppose so. Yeah, I'm supposed to safeguard this... I am not sure why. But... I know there is more to this pendant.

...Fire-covered blox?

[He winces at Sora's story of the episode of dealing with them. He gives a nod.]

Don't worry I'll be careful. It looks like the both of us have a long journey ahead of us.

Sounds like a mystery worth trying to solve to me.

They can be useful...if you throw something at them instead.

It sure does. Say, you mentioned following this star and helping others but why are you traveling? Are you working toward some sort of goal?

[He has a thoughtful look.]

I will keep that in mind! I have some useful tools for cases like that!

Well, the reason why I travel... It has been a dream of mine.

[He looks up towards the sky, then he turns to face Sora with a smile.]

Have you had a dream that you've always wanted to accomplish? I lived in a small village for all of my life. My father always told me stories of his adventures; from the people that he met to the mysteries that he uncovered. I want to surpass my father in that respects.

I want to have an adventure for myself.

[A dream? Sora isn't too familiar with those... but it sounds like a good thing, especially the way Reize talks about them]

Uh.. I can't say that I have had a dream. [Is that weird?] I thought..when I was first coded into the system that I just wanted to remain on Destiny Island with my friends.. but now.. I need to help the others. I need to remove the blox so Mickey and the others can return to their own world, and I need to help Riku..

[Goes silent for a moment]

.. But Im not sure you could call it a dream.

[Looks to Reize]

I think I would like to have a dream, someday.

[reize_seatlan]

[The young boy brightens to a smile. He tilts his head to the side, looking over to Sora.]

Really? Well, you have your own motivations... When you have a dream, you have a motivation. When you have that motivation, you have that drive.

It helps drive the convictions.

[Reize places a hand to Sora's shoulder.]

Then you will have a dream!

I do have motivation! Guess that means I'm halfway there, right?

[Looks to the hand then back at his friend.]
