Hey, you had to do it. It wasn't fun for either one of us and sitting there won't help. I know it's hard leaving people you care about but it's for the best.

Maybe you'll find a place where I can do better, don't give up mun.

Well...one of those. Where you have to do things.

[Maddie does not want to say that her mun actually sent her to a in between world floating city aka Red Light District at one point.]

Oh... OH. [Shocked Nick is shocked.]

No. No. I mean.. one of those games? My mun has been apart of those games too so no judgement. Just, uh, I'm sorry. [He doesn't know what to say.]

I might be getting sent into space soon. Maybe.

[She shakes her head and smiles slightly.]

I had a couple close calls but nothing ever happened. There were some pretty nice people I got to know while I was there.

[And watch chaos unfold sometimes.]

Space? Is it the big ship one that I heard about?

Well consider yourself lucky. My mun used to play at a place that forced it's people to wear collars and uh, the muses he had there... had more than close calls.

[He shrugs.] I know the ship is called the Tranquility and that my mun has a couple of guys there already. Don't know how I feel about it yet.

You know. This game stuff in general is a little weird to me.

[She knows which one that is. Ok, aphro tattoos sound a lot better than collars. But she wants to try and make him feel a little better about going to a game. Madison remembers those jitters and now she feels better than before.]

I know it's a little strange to begin with but I think it depends on the game you end up going to. Some of the people I know might have been sent to terrible places but they found others who became close knitted and found something that they couldn't find back home.

Sort of like my first day in Briarwood. [It seems like so long ago now.] I've already found what I couldn't, remember? My real mom and dad.

I found friends and.. so much more. [He stops there.] But my mun says that the ship will need more heroes on board. That I might be needed. [Again Nick pauses.] And still it won't be the same.

[Everywhere they need heroes. And sometimes there can be too many. Thinking on that, Madison couldn't help but think that she was lucky. There was no 'fate of the world' at stake at any game she was in but it seemed to be more on growth of the person.]

I'm sorry that I won't be going with you.

[She would try to convince her mun but the woman can be dead set on something when she puts her mind to it.]
