I understand you're concerned about the possibility of someone else taking my place there while you wait, but I'm afraid that's a chance you're going to have to take. It's hardly fair to everyone else to simply... what's the word, squat? Squat on my character waiting for something that my not happen. It's unfair to the others, and certainly unfair to me.
