Maker help me. Do you honestly need me here? There is little space in your head as it is and I don't see a need to fill it beyond the limit. Yes, I know a lot of them are inactive, but I might add to that pile. I'd rather throw myself at the feet of the Knight-Commander and beg that she take me in because I'm a horrible Apostate than to become nonexistent.

Just, put some thought into this before you actually make any commitments. I also hope you're not picking me up because of the possible romances you heard about. If you're in that dire need of romance, as Varric to write you something.

Well I'm not sure how much of an academic you are but I think you might find this place not so bad after you meet some of the more interesting beings around here.

Yes and sadly the Isabela definition of that phrase does happen. Although demons aren't quite as pervasively evil as they are in your world.

Well part of the difference is they have their own physical bodies in some cases, so no real need for possession.

Then some of them are more like people in personality. Some of them even did things for good purposes.

It's all about where they come from I guess. I mean some of them are just born like humans so really you get a lot of different personalities. Then there's the fact that in some countries demons are just tricksters for the most part.

What about mages, are they terrible where you're from?

Well we don't exactly have any mages. The closest thing would be myself and eleven of my childhood friends.

No mages? Sounds like the ideal place for the Knight-Commander and anyone else who hate mages to live.

Well look at it this way, the twelve of us, probably make up the combined power of every mage in your world. Which is a little scary to think about now but it's the best equivalent I can come up with without sounding egotistical.

Well, when you put it that way you might be able to scare them enough that they'll think differently about us. But, I wouldn't want the Knight-Commander or anyone like her on anyone else.
