[Because after the ups and downs of their conversation, and everything else she has had to deal with, he suspects she could use a hug. Plus, the idea of expressing his concern for someone he cares about is not a monumental challenge, like it seems to be for half the team.]

[Then again, so is she. She makes no signs of pulling away anytime soon. His hold is both strong and warm, and would have made her feel so much better if it didn't just add to the confusion of everything.]

I don't think I am going to buy into it when I arrived. I already thought the world was in danger of ending once, and that didn't happen. I'll probably think we were purposefully sent into the worm hole by someone in the League, to find a way to save the world, and then travel back in time to do it.

Certainly beats the mantra I've got going through my head: that the aliens are all just messing with us, for some reason. Did you know they held me hostage in that stupid paperwork room until Artemis had to come get me? All because I wouldn't stick some translator fish thing in my ear!

But my magic can do that. And I rather like my ears fish-free.

Then again, M'gann can communicate telepathically. It makes our current technology look dated. So maybe we're the crazy ones.
