Back on the Continent, there was a certain, humble village that ate their elderly after they passed. This way, the old was absorbed into the new generations. The excess was tossed into the valley for the animals to feed upon. Most of the traveling Greeks looked down upon them, you know. But their so-called philosophers? They admired this village's culture for their honoring of the cycle of life and death.
