(Slowly, she walks to the center of the room and creates a rather imposing black stone throne. With a graceful sweep, Maleficent sits down.)

I sense the forces of evil are strong within these confines. Are they vocal?

(She arches one perfectly groomed eyebrow.)

They must find their voices! There is much to be done!

(Her eyes glow ominously as her fervor grows.)

It is time for us to stand together and show those who believe in petty concepts such as "true love" our might! If they are not imbeciles [which is questionable in her mind], they will come to our side.

And then ~

(Does her laugh send chills down anyone else's spine?)

Goodness, does one have to be evil to think true love is a crock? I've never understood humanity's need to ascribe cosmic significance to every little thing they feel.

[Words won't help. They never do, with her. Opening his mouth would just be pointless- or worse, give her more weapons to use against him.

So when he charges straight for her with blade at the ready, Aurora's name rings in his heart and mind- but not a word passes his lips.]

(A barrier of flames will bar his way. That's the problem with charging. It does draw attention to one's self.)

And lo, the Prince arrives to save the day! Though, from what I hear, you've already done that~.

You know, it doesn't do to be so theatrical. Not until you know you have control. Best to charm them first, and then shake off your chains and put on a little... show.

[His expression is neutral, but the disdain and condescension is so thick you can almost touch it in his voice. ]

You think that among so many glorious lights, your darkness can extinguish even half, even a quarter of them? As usual, darkness breeds such severe... delusions.

[Not that he's one to talk- he is every bit as opulently dressed and over the top as she is, albeit he wears a pure-white robe with golden trims instead of a trailing jet-black cloak, a golden mask with monocle attached instead of a horned helmet, however that works and to top it all off... a taxidermied albino peacock, slung over his shoulder as a boa.

Though he speaks of light, and it is quite obvious to anyone with the proper senses that he has power in abundance, there doesn't seem to be much separating one megalomaniac from another.]

Why do you deign to speak to one who is..."so low"? (Her eyes travel over his attire. All things considered, it's hard to take him seriously. Also, it's unclear in the movie whether her horns are or are not attached to her head. Considering the creator says she's "crowned with horns of the devil", I guess we'll never know...until the Maleficent movie comes out in 2013. :3)
