I, ah... hate to tell you this, chérie, mais... the Rulers will not let us keep items from home. Only with these "Regain Events" will we be given our things back by the Mods.

[A doleful sigh.]

[And Francis can't help but bite his lip as Bri continues to pester him.] As well as can be expected for two people trapped on an island, with little hope of staying ourselves and less hope of escape, je suppose.

Oh aye, but gettin' this lass to be doin' anythin' on time 'tis like tryin' to lead a mule anywhere. [Haha, you're one to talk Ireland.]

[France grows rather quiet as the subject of William is brought up, again. He doesn't comment, just gives a little nod at her estimation of the situation.]

Be listenin' to you, talkin' like I cannabe be handlin' meself. [A teasing grin, though it is a bit uneasy. She doesn't like it when France gets quiet like this, it never seems right.] Even if I'm nay havin' me weapons I'm still quite capable of fightin', as you should be rememberin'.

[She slides a hand up his arm, resting it lightly just below his elbow] 'Twill all be bein' fine in the end, 'tis sure of it I am. Naythin's goin' on forever, after all.

Oui, I remember. I do not doubt you can fend for yourself. I am concerned that, if I change... change fully into my denizen, again, that few will be safe.

[He seems to appreciate the hand on his arm, despite the very serious topic.]

[She shrugs, the smile turning real again.] Then we'll be protectin' them. 'Tis a simple 'nough solution if the worst should be happenin'.

[And there she goes with her oversimpification of things again.]

Well, the people there are not so bad. I have met many an interesting face... and, of course, there is never a dull moment as far as our kind are concerned. We Nations have hardly been boring.

And then there is the matter of my shop. It has been very successful. [No he's not beaming what why would you say that.] We have even had customers from the villagers on the island!

Anyone bein' particularly interestin'? [And she doesn't even mean anything by it beyond what's on the face of it, isn't that amazing?] I'd be worryin' if any one of us was managin' bein' borin'. Even China's bein' interestin'.

[She raises an eyebrow] You were openin' a shop? What sort of shop?

Well, all of them are, if you take the time to talk to them! I am sure you will meet little Teddie. He is a darling. And I am sure he will be very interested in you, too. [A small smile.]

And then there are my employees in my shop. They are all very nice and obliging. Sophie and Minato and Kreutzer. And there are many many others... Fluttershy, Louis, George, Yoko...

[He nods.] I tailor clothing for those of us stuck on the island. The Rulers do not like us wearing clothes other than what our denizens would wear... so as such I make them as "costumes".

[She raises the other eyebrow] Will he now?

Fluttershy? 'Tis bein' an interestin' name, is it one goin' with the personality of the one havin' it? [Oh Ireland, if only you knew that was an understatement...]

'Tis a fine thing you're doin' then, Pronsais. 'Tis sure I am 'tis few who would be thinkin' of doin' such a thing for others when they're bein' in such a place. Lookin' out for themselves first and the like.

[He smiles, with a nod.] She is a very sweet pony, if quiet and a sometimes... mmm... jumpy, I would say. She is nervous.

There is no point in helping myself. I can do nothing but make clothes, and survive. Some of us, such as the little ones, can hardly do that.
