Y-you have a place to send me? Uhm, I don't mind that you wanna use me again but *sigh* it's hard enough with school and Phil's training. Having to get used to another new place just doesn-...
Really? I...wouldn't have my strength? I'd be just everyone else there and still be able to help people?
...okay. I'll try it. After all, a hero can take on any challenge!

I guess it'd be sort of hard to get used to but it'd be nice to just. You know, fit it for once.

But speaking of Cassandra, that's my name, though I usually prefer Cassie.
no subject
Alright, I can remember Cassie. Oh, I'm Hercules. Hero in Training.

You know? I have a brother named Hercules. I didn't realize it was a common name.
no subject
I just realized he has no annoyed icons xD
Glad to help XD
Your biological father is also Zeus, you were born and raised to be different from most men.
8D!
[Because there is no way he heard that right. Only a handful of believe know/believe that story.]

I am one of your Uncles in a way, so it's not difficult for me to know this fact.
no subject
How can you be one of my uncles? You look as old as me.

Though in this case my mundane chose this appearance.

[Looking Hades over a little before a small shrug.]
You kinda look like some of the kids at my school.
1/2
Well, I'll be.
no subject
Don't worry too much about your strength, kid. You'll do alright.
no subject
I uhm, w-well heh I...I'm still gonna be a hero just. You know, a little uhm normal.
N-not that I'm uhm weird now or anything! I mean...uhm
no subject
Mhmm. Being a hero is admirable, as long as you're doing it to actually help people. Means you're better than normal.

I'm glad you're doing it for the right reasons.
no subject
No powers and having to help people?
How boring is that?
no subject
no subject
Why?
You'd better be able to back that claim up, demigod.

[Though it sounds nice to be normal for once... it also sounds like a recipe for disaster.]
no subject
[Normal would be nice. Super strong kinda sucks when one is gangly and klutzy.]

Well, at least he seems pleasant enough.]
Still worrying over studies, eh? Just remember, there's no substitute for true experiences in this life; you'll value them far more.
[Oh yeah.] And remember above all to control your strength; everything else comes far easier when you have that down, you can be sure. That's the the most important thing you could ever learn, boy; some time spent without that strength might be just what you need to gain a proper handle on it.
no subject
I'm always worried about studies. There's like tests every week and I know I'm failing shop class.
[Small look up because that last part was important. Though Herc still looks a little frustrated.]
I know, I know. It's just not that easy yet.
[Stare.]
Y-you think it would really help?
no subject
Also, SHOP CLASS? No wonder his alternate turned out so weird if this was his childhood; the situation was just too strange. Still, he'll do what he can for the lad.] Your... 'shop class' is one you'll want to pay some attention to; having strength enough to be a one-man building crew can be most valuable, so long as you know what it is you do.
And I know just how hard it can be, more than even you can know... but I expect you'll pick it up in time. As for the other... tell me, how often have you managed to lift with all your strength? Use everything you have without any holding back at all?
Without your strength, you've a chance to manage as other mortals do, a chance to learn something of limits. It should prove most educational.
no subject
Pfft, when am I ever going to have use a lever?
[Okay, now he has something to think on.Sure there had been a few times when his strength was a hindrance but he had never had it pushed to it's limits.]
Well, never but it's gotta happen sometime right?
Educational?
[Never say educational to a teenager, Beardy Herc, it makes them cringe.]
no subject
by comparison, buster. Also, did you really want to try shaving with nothing but a bronze knife and some olive oil? Look at Papa Zeus, it's not like hairless chins run in the family.]
Why, should you have to move the world. [It's come up a time or two, in fact.]
Oh, it will happen eventually- and to be honest, the sooner the better. That's the advantage of real experience, in fact; it pushes you to go past what you think yourself ready for, and forces you to grow. To become more than once you were.
[SIGH. You know, when HE was your age being treated to an education was a rare and prized thing indeed! ...Which led to his accidentally killing one of his tutors in a fit of irritation and uncontrolled strength, but no need to mention that part.] YES, educational. A chance to learn something. And the more you know, youngling, the more you can do... which may mean all the difference between saving a life or dooming it for one who seeks to be a hero.

Have a cute Herc grin.]
That would really help but I don't think I could afford to do that like Adonis can. Besides, I gotta learn to handle anything that comes my way.
Including Home Grecanomics....
no subject
I'd take Art class with Mr. Pygmalion any day over Home Grec. I like Miss Euphrosyne and all but...no thank you.
no subject
It's nice to run into a familiar face here though, thanks.
no subject
Why?
What for?
What did they ever do for you?
no subject
They...really haven't done anything for me but that shouldn't really matter, right? Not everyone can protect themselves and that's what heroes are for.
no subject
Isn't that nature, though?
