[He takes the punch, tail waving quickly a few times before it curls along his backside. One of his hears fold as the he reaches up to the scratch at the other.]

Then I'll have to learn how to make it... what kind of food do you think they've got where we're going? I've been eating a lot of things since I've gotten my body back.

[ Casually drapes on Al, resisting the urge to bat on his ears as he considers his brother's question. His own tail leisurely swipes back and forth. ]

...why not? Was Winry feeding you enough?

[He doesn't mind and he leans closer into Ed as they talk.]

...I hope so. She was... at least while I was with her. I spent the two years on my own though. I traveled all over!

About that, Al...

[ Standing is getting boring, so he's just gonna drag Al down and settle against him, tail curling around them both. ]

Tell me 'bout it? Where'd you travel?

[He looks up just before Ed tugs him down. He lands with a surprised oof, ok landing on your tail isn't exactly pleasant. So he turns a bit until his tail can sneak free and then relaxes beneath the weight of his brother.]

Well, it wasn't long after Winry and Teacher brought me home that I left. I spent a year with learning with Teacher ... again.

[He laughs.]

It was easier the second time around now that I think about it! After... south, west, north, and east. I was in Liore when I spoke to you that one time. I saw Mr. Armstrong and Rose.

[ That's what you get for tugging his earlier. And he's just lounging now, gloved fingers gently pulling at Al's ear. ]

Heh, she stick you on the island again? Probably didn't have Mason chasing you around this time.

[ Snorts at the memory. ]

[The word 'same' said with the same fear as anything that comes along with their teacher. The tugging at his ear doesn't help, it flicks out of Ed's hold and twitches every time.]

[He pauses mid sentence, cheeks flushing. He doesn't want to insult Ed at all, but without causing trouble everywhere he went he got information or learned that there was a lack of much quicker.]

... it was a lot easier!

[ Pauses, mid-tug to give Al a flat look. ]

[He's such a horrible liar with a body too. It's very obvious he's hiding something.]

It's just... well, it was a lot easier to gather information without having to fight everyone all the time.

[He's going to try and crawl away now.]

[ Nope, not letting you. Instead, he pinches Al's ear between thumb and forefinger, ensuring that his brother can't get far without getting his ear pulled. ]

[ Finally releases Al with a huff, tail swishing almost violently in his agitation. Yes, he's pouting again. ]

[He bends forward, bringing a hand up to rub at his ear. So sore.]

Either way... it lead me to you.
