We've only just got there.  I'm sure sorting things out with Lorna and Father will be distracting enough as it is without Pietro and the children showing up.  We certainly do not need Doctor Doom running about with a sentient weapon, he is dangerous enough on his own.

And.

Look, if it's all the same to you, I'm just not ready to deal with any of the Avengers or X-Men.  I know you're terribly eager about this kind of thing, but throwing me head first into an elevator with Emma Frost is not going to improve our situation.  And really, I'm sure dealing with Avengers from alternate dimensions will be confusing enough without complicating the situation by adding to them.
