Regarding his being app'ed to Re/Aligned
Well, now you've gone and done it, haven't you? You don't even know if you can properly handle me. Or a full-fledged public game at all again right now.
...you guess you'll find out...
Hnph. Build some spinal struts. Either you know me or you don't. You think you do. Others seem to agree. Either this will work or it won't, Mundane.
Now, don't you have other things you should be doing?

no subject
[ A sigh. ]
But perhaps you'll help keep Starscream in line.
no subject
[He snorts.]
Megatron himself can't keep Starscream in line. What makes you think I can?
[Not that he won't try. Someone has to be the voice of reason when Stars starts going off the deep-end with some of his wild ideas.]
no subject
[ He knows it's a faint hope, but it's still a hope. ]
no subject
...I make no promises.
[But he'll see what he can do. It's in his own best interests as well. The whole trine is punished for their leader's antics as often as not.]
So . . . you know me, or anyway your mundane does. And you are?
[Sorry, Ratch. You look too visually different from his world's version, and the voice is nothing the same, for him to make the connection without help.]
no subject
At the very least, you'll meet with my fellow muse, Korra. My mun's become utterly annoying as we wait for an answer on whether I'll be joining in.
no subject
Agreeing with our mundanes on something probably means something's wrong and we just don't know it. Or going to go wrong behind our backs.
But anyway . . . yeah, should be interesting.
And I did see that you've had an application put in for you. Good luck with that.
[Whether he's sincere or a little sarcastic is hard to tell - HE can't fully tell. He has, after all, heard what these games can be like.]
no subject
At this point, I'll accept whatever appeases my mun, she's too unsufferable at the moment.
[This Starscream is...soothed, somewhat, by how much this Thundercracker sounds like his own.]
no subject
[That gets a small, crooked grin out of the Seeker.]
I can imagine. I think mine's too run down at the moment to be as irritating as she could be otherwise.

Hmn. Give her a cycle, maybe.
no subject
...It would be good to see you there, though. On that young Cybertron.
no subject
"Young" Cybertron. Primus, that's a strange thought.
Hey . . . promise me a flight.
no subject
[Delighted.] Of course. [It's not his TC...but so close.]
no subject
no subject
[Snorts, arms crossed]
Both?

no subject
Except yours?
[Yeah, he gets what you're saying - and, actually, he appreciates it - but he couldn't help the jibe. Hey, if you can't tease your trine...]

[He gives a bit of a laugh.]
Smarter than me, then, I take it.
[He nods at the last, though. Still smirking.]
Guess we'll see. Don't be as much of a careless aft as my Starscream can be, and maybe I'll consider it.
no subject
Wagering you're not going to know what to do about me.
Want to put some high grade on it? Keep things interesting?
LOL never thought I'd get to use this icon so soon. XD;;;;
[He shrugs.]
Sure, why not? What's the wager, exactly?
[Pay no attention to the icon. He'll deny it if asked.]
lmfaooo
Can't hold it, can you. Now that is going to be entertaining.
XD
Considering I haven't had any decent high-grade in . . . longer than I care to think about . . .
Still, I'm sure I can hold it just fine.
And you're different, huh? Hm. Guess we'll see.
[He's definitely intrigued, though.]
no subject
[gently cracking his servos]
I learn from my mistakes now. It's actually harder than I make it look.
no subject
[He doesn't know who Wing is, though Blurr's name tickles a back-circuit. He'd have to divert too much attention to search older datatracks for the intel, though, and he doesn't see the need, so he'll hold off till later. He just nods. And assumes he'll worry later about affording anything at all - something as mundane as currency is something else he's not dealt with in far too long.]
Do you? Heh, I don't think my Starscream is capable anymore.
[There's...actually a hint of sadness in that, though he hides it well.]
I look forward to meeting you, then.
no subject
...did something happen between you two?
A little headcanon sneaking in...
Nothing in particular, no. Just that . . .
[He stops, shaking his head. It's not his place to reveal his trine leader's damaged psyche. They've all been beaten and broken down by Megatron's relentless physical and psychological abuses, but none of them more than Starscream. The harder Megatron's pushed, the harder Starscream always pushes back . . . but it's not been without its price. Thundercracker and Skywarp both have watched their trine leader slowly erode under the storm. Day to day, there are times when the blue Seeker wants to throttle his trine leader for his ambitions and his careless pursuits, jumping on the first thing in front of him without thought of consequence beyond immediate goals, but he also believes it's...not wholly Starscream's fault. If anything, Thundercracker blames Megatron.]
My Starscream has . . . his challenges that he has to work through. He can be careless and thoughtless of anyone beyond himself and his ambitions. And he doesn't seem to learn. He's sure he's right if he just keeps trying.
[It may or may not surprise this Starscream that there's no real malice in Thundercracker's tone, despite the words.]
oh god he's breakin my heart here
I bet he doesn't appreciate you, either.
[Well, this is painful.]
=3
. . . sometimes. Often, maybe.
When push comes to shove, though, I know he's got our backs, mine and Warp's. We're trine.
[Okay, maybe not Every. Last. Time., but...enough times to disregard the rare instance. Starscream's betrayals have always focused on Megatron. Not that he and Warp never get caught in the crossfire, but that's more a failure of not being able to work out cause-and-effect ahead of time than anything actually deliberate against his trinemates.]
no subject
[even though he won't be able to remember any of this late, it still compels him to dig. You never know.]
Sorry....TC's a very THINKY mech. >,> In case you haven't noticed. orz Not impossible to get-
. . .
[That's a good question, one he's asked himself countless times over the millennia. His words are a bit slow as he considers them.]
There's the bond. And for the most part, he's reliable. Heh, so long as it doesn't go directly against his vendetta against Megatron. Not that I would, frankly.
...I keep hoping he'll succeed. Really succeed.
[That's something he's never voiced before, even to his trine brothers . . . though they both know it from the trinebond. It's hard to hide much when your spark is directly linked to another's.]
[He hopes for all their sakes . . . and he hopes that, once Megatron is gone, his trine leader can . . . maybe start healing.]
He has potential. For all his failings, he has a lot of potential. I think, given the chance, he really could do great things. He just needs to get out from under Megatron's fusion canon once and for all.
no don't apologize I love it, I can't wait to play in game with him
[but to him, it sure as hell is improbable. He looks up at Thundercracker again and manifests a quick smile]
Yeah. But that's enough about me.
