I'm sure you're real proud of yourself, but if you think this is supposed to make me feel any better about you thinking of sending me off into space –– yeah, that's right, the irony isn't lost on me –– then you really are dumber than you look.

Kinda trippy, but... I dunno; sounds like it could be fun to me.

'Fun'? [Just sort of a vaguely disgruntled face here. Or not so vague.] Floating around in the far reaches of space with no money, no contacts, and no muscle? I'm a spoiled man, Shaundi, so how the hell is all of that supposed to be fun?

Hm. Guess that part kinda sucks, yeah.

[A shrug.] So you've gotta start from scratch. Is that really such a big deal?

You know it isn't that. [Done it before, more than once at that, so doing it again (while annoying as hell), isn't an issue.]

I just don't like the idea of being under someone else's control.

[Jokingly, she nudges him with her elbow.] Hey; you don't see me complaining about that, do you Boss?

[And then, more seriously, she places her hands on her hips.] C'mon- I'm sure you'll find a way to get back in charge eventually. In the meantime why not try to enjoy yourself?

I mean, you get to blow shit up and take over... in space. How rad is that?

[He scoffs at that remark, but his tone does become a little lighter.] Yeah, but you're used to it.

[The Boss crosses his arms and gives her something of a look, but his next words are obviously conceding.] Well when you put it that way... I guess fucking shit up in space might be an exciting new experience.

Space? For real? Not some bad movie shit? I think it suits you, Playa. Figure Stillwater and Steelport isn't big enough for the Saints, y'know?

Johnny. [Hey, you're neither dead nor undead. This d_m place sure is nifty.] First I'd thought I'd have to start memorizing scripts with more crappy lines, but then I realized the situation was bigger than that.

Starting over is a pain in the ass, but talk about expansion.

[Yeah, he's happy to be not-dead too.]

Yeah, especially since I won't be there to bail your ass out. Still, I would've thought you'd be all over this. I mean, who wouldn't want a chance to bang some alien blue hotty?

I was all over it, until I found out that none of the crew would be with me and I don't get to bring any of my shit.

Not to mention the whole world destruction part, too. I don't know about you, but I don't like the idea of all of my stuff being blown to hell before I arrived.

["My stuff" = Stilwater and Steelport. Aren't you so thoughtful, Boss.]

[Johnny gives the boss a look of 'seriously?']

Shit, it's in our nature. Don't tell me you don't like blowing shit up. It was bound to happen at some point.

[There's a marked pause though, something's been troubling him.]

[In which the Boss just gives an incredulous look in return.] Sure, Johnny, I can appreciate shit being blown into space dust. But preferably not all of our shit if we can help it -- which seems to be a goddamn requirement for living in space.

[Something of a dismissive hand wave.] Leaning towards the saving members of the crew ending, but nothing's set in stone. Hasn't even started writing the "app" or whatever yet.

There's always more shit out there we can take. [Shrug.]

[At the hand wave though, Johnny's face grows dark and there's a seriousness to his voice that was only matched by his tone at Aisha's funeral.]

I'm only saying this once. He better fucking do more than just lean. Killbane will get his eventually. The Saints don't turn their back on their own.
