My player (seriously, mundane.. how derogatory) suggests that I should reply with something along the lines of "I have to go, my planet needs me".

... now my Operator keeps taunting me with that I think that the youkai are figments of my imagination even though you keep cutting yourself up on them, and that you're going back to your home planet soon after all. I'll just have to focus on the good; that I finally got to visit a satellite on the cheap, and that I can finally see what you see.

The thing is, I never figure out where to go on my own. The dreams show me, and then I bring you with me the second time through.

Also, since this is a weird, fourth-wall breaky place, I can share with you secrets that I was explicitly keeping. My Operator always played me as terrified that you'd turn into a youkai someday and forget about me forever. At least they got that right, if little else.

Well, you aren't dead, so whatever that youkai was it probably didn't give you some crazy War of the Worlds disease, so you don't have to worry about dying of that.

Renko is more quiet on the subject of curses. That's *all* she needs Mary to start dreaming up.

This is probably not in-character for me, but next time we go somewhere that dangerous, I suggest that you dream about armored space suits. Just in case.
