On Princes that won't stay put

Happily ever after does not apply when princes refuse to stay in their bed to get proper rest after a serious battle.

Now that I think about it, I should have made him rest for a week after fighting Maleficent rather than a ball.

Have you tried restraining him or hitting him with a frying pan?

[Because, hey it worked for her with Eugene, right?]

[Give the Knight a second. Aurora's hair reminds him of his Elsa.]

Princes have this tendency to do what they will regardless of personal consequences. Or at least, that's what I've learned of the prince I serve.

Hey! Hey! That only works when you sneak behind me!
knightoftheswan: (my prince)

I can sympathize with that.

My liege believes it his job to protect as many as possible, which sometimes causes him to act senseless. He's the sort to dive off a tower to save a falling canary. It's usually my job to keep him from doing such things or to make sure he doesn't injure himself too badly as a result.

I'm indeed happy to serve him, highness. Even if it means occasionally following him in senselessness.

Your prince, too, sounds like a man of action and not just words.

That's part of the "charming" deal.

[Which is not for Lohengrin. No way.

Except maybe he's paying attention to how Aurora swoons to see if Elsa would do anything like that in his presence.
]

I do hope he listens to you, as your advice is sound.

I wasn't behind you when you were tied to the chair. [Though for all intents and purposes, being tied down, Eugene couldn't move to defend himself regardless if that had been from the front or back.] Besides, I am sure Aurora could manage if she tried.

[personal profile] seethelanterns 2012-08-15 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
I'd think that would stop him running off and hurt enough to keep him in bed. It's worth considering if it happens again?
philip_charming: (You know you want this)

[personal profile] philip_charming 2012-08-15 05:04 am (UTC)(link)
But because you didn't, you know I can handle it. Right?

[He's entirely too cheerful for someone in his situation, sure. But it's dear_mun! He can get AWAY with stuff here!]

[personal profile] seethelanterns 2012-08-15 08:31 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. I suppose. He might get upset if you break his...what did Eugene call it? Smoulder?
knightoftheswan: (spell and sword)

[personal profile] knightoftheswan 2012-08-15 01:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Admirable. But if he doesn't heed your advice, he may give out all the same. Don't let his determination excuse your reason, Highness.
philip_charming: (Hells yeah over there!)

And...

You deserve a prince, a man strong enough to take care of you, my Aurora. You deserve the best I could ever be.

[And more, he doesn't say. He just pulls her into his arms, enfolding her tight.]
knightoftheswan: (spell and sword)

I do my best, Highness.

[If permitted, he takes her hand and bows over it.]

A pleasure. I am Lohengrin, the Knight of the Swan.
