Hey, uh. Not that I mind helping with the monsters, but... I kinda promised President Kougami that I'd help out his company on that dig in Europe. You know. For the project?

He sent me three birthday cakes last year, so I kinda don't want to leave him hanging. Or he's definitely going to send me ten more this year.

But I really don't think you can miss him. He really likes singing Happy Birthday and yelling stuff. Like "WONDERFUL!" or "GREEED!"

And he saved my bacon a bunch of times. Although come to think of it, he does take a 60% cut off the top of everything I make...

Besides, he's helping me out right now. And he really isn't so bad once you get to know him. [Actually, Ankh victimized Eiji much more often. So.]

Yeah, he was a great guy! Anyhow, all you really need to survive out there is underwear and some pocket change for lunch. Unless someone buys you lunch! That's the best.

I do a lot of odd jobs. Delivering beer, waiting tables, doing security guard shifts... that kinda thing. Although more recently, I started traveling again.

It's kind of complicated. But basically, none of the dig stuff is really long-term. I guess I could ask for a permanent hire, but... well, then I couldn't really do what I wanted to do.

This way, we're kind of partners. Helping each other out for a little while. See?

Well, uh. There's a buddy of mine that disappeared on me a little while ago. But I know we'll run into each other again if I keep at this job.

You just reminded me a little of him, is all. I guess he is nice? I'm still working it out. [Sometimes he gets in a mood and I can't figure out what he's thinking.] He's... I guess you'd call it trustworthy? The kind of guy who'd make a deal with the devil for a friend. What you said about yours...reminded me of that.

Anyway, sounds like a complicated guy. Don't let him go down the wrong path! Saving your friends is important, too, but... uh... it's important to not go overboard?
