Now den, I know you're havin' a hard time nowadays. Couldn' even imagine what teachin' a roomful o' brats day in day out would do to a body.
T'ing is mon ami, you ain't gon' get out o' dis funk by mopin' 'bout it. Get out an' do somet'ing. I'm sure you made me dis here account for some reason, find us someplace t'get out an' play, eh? Take your mind off it.
Mos' people you play off agree you play me a sight better'n most. Dat's a high compliment right dere.
Nothin'll take your mind off de blues like a nice, high-adrenaline heist. What you t'ink? Let ol' Gambit show you a good time, eh?

And the nearby glass shatters from the high-pitched squeal...
Well, you could always come to the game I'm at if you wanted.
Pffft. xD Not enough Remy around these days.
An' what be dat game about, mon ami?
Not at all.

Just... without the screaming, I hope.
This was far too fitting and I apologize.
No apology necessary!
CARD MASTERS UNITE!
[Fate seems amused, twirling one of his cards between his fingers. He's having to resist showing off -- his Mun's fairly familiar with Gambit, after all.]
Yoooooossshhh! \o/
[ Gambit watches the card twirling interestedly, tilting his head a moment. ]
You play cards too, mon ami?
\o/
[Alright, he can't resist. Fate mentally "flicks" the deck in his shirt and the cards flutter out, taking up position around him like a ring. He will never get tired of doing this.]
It ain't like yer "mutant power." Ah use magic for this.
no subject
Dat surely is a t'ing o' beauty, mon ami. My mutant power ain't so much 'bout de cards as it is 'bout me. But dat surely mus' come in handy come time t'impress de dames, eh?
no subject
["Could," he says. You should see Fate's little black book.]
As it is, Ah'm more popular with the Summoners who rather like mah style of fightin'. Not that Ah mind -- the League pays pretty well, though it's more fun t' gamble it out yerself.

[Here because mun has been playing Marvel VS. Capcom.]
I hope your mun feels better soon!

[ Ah childhood memories! ]
You an' me both.

And he can't come back until he kisses a person appropriate for his orientation! Or however that song goes!

'Fraid I ain't familiar wit' dat tune m'self. But dat surely does sound like some good clean fun, non? [ He chuckles lightly. ]
....OH GOD let me love you~
She raises a brow.]
I'm sure there are other ways to show someone a good time.
8D Everybody loves them some Gambit
Dere sure are, cherie. But none o' dem quite as...thrillin' as dat one.
Some more than others.
Pretty sure, I can think of plenty of things better than that.
He's an acquired taste. xD
I'll take dat bet. What would be on your list?
One of my favorites.. hands down.
Who says I want to share?
no subject
Who said you don'?

Point.
[She leans a bit closer.]
Dancing. [And she doesn't necessarily mean literally. Dancing like the art of seducing a mark. The careful planning of graceful steps that take you around and around until you reach your ultimate goal.]
no subject
[ Her answer gets an amused brow raise, he knows all about that, doesn't he? It's always more fun to get them to just give you what you want even when you could just take it. Dancing, is one of his favorite things to do. ]
Dat answer makes me t'ink you mean a whole lot more'n just movin' t'music. A woman after my own heart it seems.
no subject
Now, she does offer a bit of a touch of a grin. Then in that they at least have one thing in common.]
You're smarter than you look. [A tease.] Best keep that heart of yours in check. Wouldn't want to see it get hurt. [She comes in just close enough, because maybe she's interested.] You have any other ideas or am I going to have to do all the work?
no subject
Is that a thaw? He'll take that as the first step to victory. ]
Your tongue be sharp enough to wound, femme. [ A hand placed over the aforementioned heart. You get him, right here Natasha. ] Ooh, 'fraid it's a li'l late for dat, darlin'. But I sure wouldn' be opposed t'some healin'.
[ That smirk returns full force, and is that a glint in his eye? Surely not. ] Well now, wouldn' want t'bruise your delicate sensibilities, petite.
no subject
Might have been. A little one.
She rolls her eyes. He amuses her, which is a good thing.]
My tongue is the least of your worries when it comes to me wounding you, sir. [She shakes her head, yes, okay she smiling, true amusement or part of her 'play'? She'll let him figure that out.] I bet you wouldn't.
[She raises a brow.] Don't go assuming how delicate anything about me is.
no subject
All part of his charm, don't you know? ]
For sure, dere be much better uses for a tongue den all dat. [ His statement is punctuated with the most ridiculous of eyebrow waggles, only matched by the intensely sharky grin that cuts his features. ] Nothin' like de soothin' presence o' a lady t'heal de worst o' hurts.
[ That grin? Is not fading in the slightest. ] Even de thorniest o' roses protects de softest petals.
no subject
That charm may just end up getting him pinned by her. And not quite in the way you might hope.]
Oh, you have no idea. [She is struggling, not to laugh because, god he is just ridiculous. Worse, than Stark.] Is that so? Even if that lady is the one doing the hurting?
[She shrugs.] And sometimes, the most beautiful things are the most deadly.

Thing about tussling is, it's just so difficult to keep track of where all your appendages are going. Not that he'd be complaining either way. ]
What I do have though, is an imagination. [ And a vivid one at that. Just give in to it, Natasha. Really. Because if you don't he's gonna have to step up his game, and it's doubtful if the multiverse could really handle that amount of cheese. ] Dose be the best kind o' ladies. Everything' in one package.
[ Seriously, his last girlfriend had like a death touch basically. He knows all about that. ] But dey be de ones dat it's mos' fulfillin' t'find.
Can... I just keep you?
Might be exactly the reason she enjoys it so much... or it might just be because she likes making men putty under her. Either way...]
You can just keep on dreaming then, bud. [Oh she wants to. She really does, please save the cheese...Even she can only handle so much.] I was actually, hoping you would say that.
[Good point.] And the most difficult to hold on to.
Will there be cake?
Well, Remy's all for giving it a try sometime if it'll help clear up some of that uncertainty. All for the sake of science, you understand? ]
Well, now dat I have your permission... [ Well, it wouldn't do to show you all his tricks on the first date after all. ] Oh? An' jus' why would dat be, chere?
Dat's de best part. Where's de fun in holdin' on t'somethin' if it don' try t'get away?
What sort of capto--hostess would I be of there wasn't cake?
Well as long as it's for science. . .
Like he wasn't going to daydream even without her permission? Pah! But look he earned himself an amused smirk.] Can't come close to having this girl if you can't handle the whole package.
[Yeah, that didn't sound at all creepy. Well, not really because he does have a point.]
Really isn't much fun if there isn't a struggle, huh? A good relationship requires some conflict every now and then, doesn't it? It would be too easy, too boring if it there wasn't.
Oh BB, lock me up and throw away the key!
Why how unseemly. He may be a rogue and a thief and a con man and, well you get the picture, but he still has the soul of a gentleman. Aaaaand another crack in that ice. Keep it up and you'll have him thinking you like him, Natasha. ] An' what a package it is, chere.
[ Never let it be said that Remy doesn't have a creepy side. This is the man who would spend weeks watching his marks before a heist. ]
Dat surely is de truth. 'Sides, smooth sailin' tends t'get boring' after awhile. S'why mos' people don' make it if'n you ask me. Effective communication's de key. Sometimes de mos' effective communication jus' happens t'be some good ol' fashioned ruckus.
[ Again, speaking to the guy who got left in Antarctica to die by his lady love. His definition of conflict is probably a little...extreme. ]
/keeps
And above all, being a gentleman will get him so much further. Keep amusing her so, he might not have to think she does, it'll be pretty damn clear.] Soothing touch, with the potential to cause so much pain.
[Natasha knows how that goes, watching a mark, crawling so deep undercover that she loses herself in the person she's playing as. That's one of her favorite things to do on the job. Being someone else, playing a part, and playing it well.
She keeps the smile in place and nods agreeing with him.]
Communication is always the key, and I agree with you completely.
[Hey, your talking to an assassin who was trained by from KGB and brainwashed by Red Room experiments. She has a relationship with one of her team mates, who coincidentally was sent to kill her. And then, later on, and mun is going off comic canon for this portion, a relationship with the man who, trained her as a child to be an efficient, effective killer. So, extreme is something she's used to.]
