Oh, cheer up, Mun! It's not like I really left. I'm still here, aren't I?
And think about it: there's all kinds of adventures we can have. So things haven't changed at all! It'll be just like traveling with Grandfather again.
And wouldn't it be something if we met him along the way? You never know.

[How could she not? And your smile is so infectious, Susan]
I believe that Ian is about, yes! We're in the same community together.
Have you been here long?

But you and Ian - where've you gone off to?

Actually, there are houses but they're not very nice. I visited one with a friend and became possessed by a ghost of a poor man, who had the most tragic story.
No Daleks, though. I can't complain about that.

I wouldn't say it's exactly like Prehistoric times again. We're not tied up in caves, and some of the others have magic, so we're able to build some of the things we need. Also, no one's pressuring us to make fire for them.

Is it okay if I add you on Plurk?
sure! i don't use it very often, but i'll add you back!
I think that's probably wise...too much Plurk and it messes with your brain :S
basically i only post stuff so people know i'm still around, lol. i forget and feel bad. :|
Don't feel bad! It's probably better that way...no one can say you post an annoying amount
this is very, very true.

But tell him I said hi, and that he'll see me again before too long.

I'll - I'll be sure to do just that.

I do believe, my dear, that such could be arranged.
tears of joy.
Thank that lovely Barbara up there for pointing this out to me :)
Hello, my dear! Goodness me, you'd think you'd seen a ghost!
[And he laughs. He genuinely laughs.]

Re: 8D
For me, four years, eight months, twenty-three days.
[Because. You are his granddaughter]
But time is rather different in the TARDIS, of course.

But you! How are you getting along? You have to tell me everything.

You made the right choice my dear, the life I can never have. Strange or not, I suspect!
As for me, oh, I'm quite well, quite well indeed. Made new friends, along the way. Ian and Barbara quite sensibly wandered off to do whatever it is they'll do. I suspect whatever it is, it will be done well.
EEEEEEEEH OMG SUSAN YES!!!
[Someone's Grandfather has more energy then she does, now, oh my. He just runs up and bear-hugs the teensy lady person.]
SHXCHCUCIGKSJFJDK!!!! also - sorry for slowness. in the process of moving.
[W A I T, is that - no.]
You can't be!
Heeeee! X333 That's ok, I'm sort've a slowatuser anyway. /o/
Apperently I can, same old Grandfather, shiny new body. Well, newer, I've had it for a while now. No one's gotta wait for me t'catch up anymore, nope! The Doctor can run, now!
[He pulls out his wallet - the one with his old, very old, library card with the picture of the Doctor she'd remember, holds it up next to his face, and tries to imitate that old familiar grumpy expression.]
See? But look at you, still so young, precious little Susan! When are you from???
yes excellent. \o\
It is you! You're so different - I could have passed you on the street and never would have stopped to guess! [Not gonna lie, she's a little embarrassed at that, and when he asks his question, she shrugs.]
Not long after you and Ian and Barbara left. A few months, maybe.
*absurd Doctory dancing* /o/ \o/ \o\ \o/ /o/
Well, I've gone through a lot of changes since then, believe you me! This is my nineth, no, tenth??? Nineth...or...no, no, tenth body! And you haven't changed one little bit, you look marvelous.
[He ponders the timeline for a moment, and for only a brief instant, the smile on his face faulters just a little. It tries to come back, but there's a fragility to it that wasn't there before.] So, after the Daleks attacked Earth? And you and that David fellow...?
just as it should be tbh.
[SUSAN CALM DOWN. He said other things. She nods at the comment about the Daleks, but shrugs and when he asks about David.]
David's nice. Really, he is - kind and determined and strong - but oh, Grandfather, he wants to settle down already and I just don't think... No, I know I don't.
Doctor is totes the best dancer, people just don't know~.
He tries to hide it, but a sudden sorrow crosses his face as she speaks, and he tries to smile at her.]
Oh Susan. dear Susan. I know you didn't want to stay behind, but I did it for your own good. You...you deserved better then this old man and that blue box could give you. You deserved a nice, happy, safe life. I knew David would treat you right...[He wished she could tell him if she was happy before...well. She was still decades away from that at least. She wouldn't know yet how everythig turned out. Perhaps it was better that way.]
