voicetesting what is my life?
Miss Mun,
This is absolutely absurd. You can't just take a man away from his crew and his ship just to do this thing called a voice test. Wasn't that something people in the twenty-first century did? Sit around their computers staring at their screens and playing? Some of us have better things to do like make sure every single one of those blasted creatures off my ship while ensuring that my crew doesn't get into another scuffle with the Klingons.
I don't much care for your notion of sending me to Canada.
So send me back at once.

Why?

[It's pretty believable ngl]
I mean not the dangerous kind. I could lose a fight to a pile of straw. It's pretty pathetic.

[Yes, Captain James Tiberius Kirk just told God to go to rehab.]
I'm sure you wouldn't lose to a pile of straw. [A strong breeze maybe.]

It's not that bad once you get there.

Spending some time in the twenty-first century version of Canada would be very interesting [History geek here, after all.] but I'm afraid my duties to my crew must come first.

[He's suppressing it. Poorly.]

Sorry, I can't resist
Look, far be it from me to tell you how to feel, and I sympathize. I do. But maybe you can make the best of things.
Don't be sorry! This is going to be a beautiful thing
Considering all I've heard about this particular place, I'm not sure it's a place either of us want to be. Corrupted corporations, slaves, darkness creatures, unfriendly and violent locals. They don't want us there and they make it clear. The only reason to go is to keep Bones out of trouble. [And it's not their version of McCoy.]
You're lucky this is the Kirk you got. I have like 6 to choose from.
I would have loved any and all Kirks
You're welcome to TOS, TOS!mirror, XI, XI!mirror, or Jodie T Kirk :P
So many! =O I always wanted old and nu Kirk to meet!
hold on, then...

Apparently my mun thinks it's a good idea to send me there. She wants to give me a superpower, Bones.

[all grumpy affection]
A superpower? Why in God's name would you need a superpower? You get into enough trouble as is.
