Someone's going back to school!

I don't know, Mun... I've already been to school and it really wasn't that great of an experience for me. I don't even know if I could be a teacher! That's sort of Phil's forte, not mine. And, well... Meg didn't seem so supportive of the idea, either. Something tells me I should probably listen to her.

[Too bad; pack up your things, Herc. You're off to a new adventure! And the app's already been started, so tough luck.]

Alright, alright. You've made your point. "A hero goes where he's needed!"

...I do still get to do the heroic stuff, right?

Now with the actual ability to tag more than once!

That is an excellent question. What is Hercules without the will and the deeds of a hero?

Still, at least you've the opportunity to enlighten and protect the young. Just what shall you be teaching there, anyway?
olympic_lion: (Not. Happy.)

Now to get the early bitching out of each other taken care of so they can go drinking!

[Herc is SO unimpressed with you right now.]

He is someone who needs to man up and help the world around him anyway. Strength, deeds, one's good name- they are all trappings. It's one's will to persevere and make things better that marks a true hero.

And while you'd do well not to underestimate the will of some students, mayhap full hero-training would be too much... but surely you can offer more than that! Lifting weights is no good for young bones, but what of hurling the discus? Arranging long-jumps? They need not be heroes to benefit from a light treatment of the Olympics.

...Wait, who is 'Phil'?

Oh, like there was ever a chance beer wouldn't be involved in this situation

A mighty heart is a grand thing, it allows a man to care enough to want to make things better for his fellows. But since when is mere wanting enough to make a change? A soul can sit and suffer in silence for all mankind, but it means nothing if nothing is made to change. [Because srsly, he could tell you STORIES about Daddy Zeus. Stories involving bulls and swans hummingbirds and golden showers and the list just goes on and on, bud.

Still, Herc's a bit more mollified at the variety of events being offered- even if he's still more concerned about excessively early weight-lifting.]
You could well give them a worthy experience, then. So long as you may keep their interest.

Philoctetes? The archer? He was a fine and worthy friend, aye, but scarce more than a stripling when I knew him. [And he was the only guy willing to set Herc on fire like a bro, thus being permitted to get Herc's bow. SATYR VOICED BY DANNY DEVITO HIS LEGEND IS RUINED 4EVA-

Wait, wait, alternate universe obviously, just keep your cool.]

I'm sure you'll find plenty of heroic things to do; you always seem to, anyway. But hopefully you won't come across any unwelcome and uninvited interruptions from real monsters while in the middle of a class.

If nothing else, just be a good teacher and make Phil proud with your teaching.

That I have no doubt whatsoever about. You managed to save me a few times, after all.

Just give them something to learn and make sure they do it right. [That's certainly one way of describing the teaching profession.] Just don't overwork them.

I would have to agree with my nephew. Play to your students' strengths and slowly train their weaknesses.

Also take some lessons from Phil, keep things diverse or you won't train their bodies properly.
