Firstly, in regards to the insane plan to bring Sobek down and get Daniel back, I can only hope you know what you're doing or that at least the Doctor and the Master do. I'm sure you know I'm not the type to take a risk without fastidiously calculating the success probability before jumping in...

Okay so maybe I have a slight tendency to make spontaneous risky decisions. Slight! That doesn't mean I'd offer myself up as breast-trapped bait to... fine.

Secondly, if you're thinking about putting me elsewhere why would you want a Season 9 or 10 Daniel?! I've already got a perfectly good one who didn't come with the same unfortunate pessimistic pre-conceptions about me. Namely the fact that our first two meetings weren't either me beating him up and stealing a ship or accidentally linking him to me with Kor-mak bracelets. The fact that I inadvertently managed to put those conceptions back anyway is irrelevant!

Thirdly, I'm hungry! Actually I'm starving and for once I'm not exaggerating. I'd be sweet talking those Jaffa by now, get on it.

I think it's pretty much a tradition amongst Stargate personnel. Wouldn't want to let the side down, after all.

I'm only slightly concerned that I'm letting someone who refers to himself as the Master inject me with symbiote poison in the hopes that the Goa'uld will take me as a host instead.

Because it's pretty much a guarantee that it'll kill Daniel on the way out, and that's given we could sedate him in the first place.
