A city of sin? How is this different than any other city?
Dear Mun,
From the World of Darkness into the city of sin, I am not sure I will even notice the difference. They are both the shadowy versions of reality where the light doesn't shine so bright and the dark is far more frightening. As a mage, though, I do not feel unequal to the challenge that this shift would give me. I am not without means to protect myself. That is not to say I am invincible by any stretch of the imagination. I have my inner demons, as you well know. So guide me to this city and I will do the best I can to survive and in time, thrive.
Your inner cynic,
Julian Reed

[How could he be cynical? That sounded like the best city ever!]

My name's Kronk and...uh. I dunno. [He'd never heard of that city before. But then, he remembered how he DID know what magic was! After all, he worked for a sorceress.] But you have to be careful around magic.
Could turn you into an animal or a dead guy, if you're not careful!

Nice to meet you Kronk. And yes, magic can be very dangerous particularly around those who don't know what they are doing. I appreciate the warning.

What's your name? Since I'm meeting so many new people, I hope that I'll run into someone else named Kronk one day!

What about you? Where are you from?

I'm Kronk and I'm from Emperor Kuzco's empire! We got lots of llamas. [Kronk smiled slowly.] Llamas are fuzzy.
[Kronk is from the Disney movie 'The Emperor's New Groove']
OOC
Re: OOC
Oh I'm sorry, I got distracted. There was a lovely young woman who decided to start chatting with me. I didn't mean to ignore you though.
My mun knows of the story you are from but has not seen it. [He chuckles] You are a fan of llamas? You are a very odd individual but amusing. Tell me more about you.
:D
Oh...uhh. I like chipmunks more. But llamas are great too! [Kronk liked talking about all the little animals.]
Why do you have hair on your face?
Re: :D
[Julian decides this man has to be 'special'] Yeah, chipmunks are cute. Do you see too many of those where you are from?
[startled]
Huh? Oh... [he rubs the stubble on his chin and grins embarrassed] Because I need to shave. You don't have to deal with this?

Who are you?

I'm thinking of throwing a party, actually.
And yeah. "Miss." But you can call me Diana.

That's unfortunate. I'm sorry to hear it. At least you made it out safely. What can you tell me about this place my mun is sending me? Tips from the survivors, so to speak.

-Get stuck when the Magistrate's building collapses
-Date two versions of the same guy at the same time
-End up kidnapped by anti-magic zealots and shot on live TV
-Attend one of Bonnie's costume parties
Yeah. I tend to get in trouble a lot.

Touche! That does not sound like an easy year if I ever heard one. You've managed to survive all that? You must be a pretty strong person. I'm probably showing my ignorance, but a costume party doesn't sound too bad. What made that a 'royal screw up'?
Aren't those who get into trouble the most having the most fun?
