Voice Testing, ohgod

...You really have no idea what you're getting yourself into, do you? I mean, you realize there are two of them to deal with?

Oh, don't look so gleeful. I--

No! No, it is not "double the fun"...! Lord help me, I'm surrounded by lunatics...

Two of who?

[Because he's met another him in this damn place already.]

[personal profile] consultingsociopath 2012-01-25 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
You've known that for quite a while now.

Obviously there's very little fun in ever dealing with Mycroft, but he's also difficult to avoid.

[personal profile] consultingsociopath 2012-01-25 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
He's been difficult to avoid for much longer than that.

[personal profile] consultingsociopath 2012-01-25 01:05 am (UTC)(link)
[Why are they talking about his home life? He does not approve of this.]

Brief. And it was a large house, anyway.

[Subject change! Childhoods are dull, anyway.]

You won't have to deal with him much.

[Somewhat Smart man, John Watson.]

I would suggest you endeavour to keep it that way, but the decision is hardly in your hands.

[Look how peeved by this he is. Mycroft's always stealing his things.]

[personal profile] consultingsociopath 2012-01-25 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
You could keep a bowl of sweets on your desk.

[Stealing, borrowing, same difference. Mycroft has his own toys, and it's not fair to take Sherlock's just because his is better.]

[personal profile] consultingsociopath 2012-01-25 03:49 am (UTC)(link)
I doubt he'd give you the credit of coming up with the idea-- but then again, it was mine.

[It's an enormous compliment, Sherlock wouldn't bother to lay claim to most people. Most toys. Whichever.]

[personal profile] consultingsociopath 2012-01-25 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
No, no, not taunts, you have to be more subtle than that-- I can get away with it, anyone else would find themselves in... Well, Antarctica would be one of the better options. No; you simply leave them there, then he can't resist the temptation, then later on he hates himself for it. It'll condition him to subconsciously avoid you in future.

[But he's not laying claim to a person. Obviously. It's more the role they represent. Enormous difference.]

[personal profile] consultingsociopath 2012-01-25 04:12 am (UTC)(link)
A bit obvious, but potentially. Food scents might be better.

[...It might be wise at some point, yes.]

[personal profile] consultingsociopath 2012-01-25 06:03 am (UTC)(link)
I'm sure you'll hardly be affected.

[personal profile] consultingsociopath 2012-01-25 06:10 am (UTC)(link)
Then you're going to have to find your own way of dealing with him.

I'd suggest sabotaging the umbrella but you'd never get close enough.

[personal profile] consultingsociopath 2012-01-25 06:22 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, but now I owe him a favour. Which means he'll insist on collecting.

We'll be seeing a lot more of him in the future, I think.

M&Ms. But you didn't hear it from me.
