More efficient? You just listed two alien races that were giving you a hard time. Like I said, for us, two hostile races is a light workload for one week.

I am most certainly not out of my mind. [ a little more forceful, this time. it isn't simple a point of pride; her mind is a treasured freedom now that she has it back to her own sweet self. ] I'm sure it would be altogether convenient for all our problems to be boiled down to one simple Earth film but I can assure you that the SGC is both real and relevant. Well, not so relevant that they could afford not to recruit yours truly. But they are certainly reaping the benefits from that move.

Alright, fine, maybe it is some sort of 'alternate universe' or whatever, but that doesn't make your SGC better than MIB. 'Cuz it's not.

It's a sure improvement over olive drab. [ forward as the day is long, vala plucks at j's tie. she lifts it to the light, inspecting the fabric. ] The few civilians who visit the base wear suits like these. I suppose they're hardly practical for combat situations.

You'd be amazed what these suits can go through without getting ripped up or stained.

We go through the gate in the most unflattering vests imaginable, yet they offer protection. Not to mention all the pockets.

Bulletproof vests aren't really that helpful when nobody's using bullets, and we don't really carry that much in our pockets.
