[Donna wishes she could be angry. Anger is easy. Instead she's got hurt and gnawing guilt and a mean case of the hindsights, just to name a few.

She shakes her head, a muscle in her jaw flexing as it clenches and releases.]

[Yes, she'd caught the slip just as he had. It was something she would've said before all this had gone down, when things were normal and she ignores his calling her out on it. What exactly could she say to that anyway?

His question is a lot easier to reply to though, and she scoffs lightly, eyes rolling toward the ceiling before landing back on Harvey.]

[She glances away. The mister bit was uncalled for but apparently she was able to muster some annoyance, if not outright anger.

Though if they kept down this road, the anger probably wouldn't take long to show up. It's already off to a good start and her mouth opens to retort but stops when he takes the breath and speaks. Anger instantly defused, if not by the words themselves, then her surprise at hearing them and there's a pause before she nods.]

You too. Have you...Have you found a replacement yet?

[ He slips his hands into his pockets and shakes his head, because, who could actually replace Donna?

They'd had years to work out how to work so perfectly together. It was going to be hard to find a new "Donna".]

Louis offered me Norma but I think that was the tears of his dead cat talking.

Probably. Though, really, I was thinking Rachel. She's smart. She's good. She could do it.

[Because if someone's going to take her place, it damn well better be someone who can actually take her place.]
