They didn't really even need the first one. Who cares about exposition and history in movies anyway. All people care about is the good stuff.

Well, I can see them making a documentary but a series seems like it's overdoing it. [Pause] History can be pretty important but bats have been around for, well, awhile. I don't know that there's a lot to tell.

[Wrong kind of bat Steve. Also, you should probably watch the discovery channel more.]

[He doesn't get why no one listens to him. He's a really trustworthy kinda guy.]

[Okay, now he's really confused. The list of heroes he knows is very short and Batman is not on it. Also, hadn't they been talking about the animal?]

I thought the uniform was a little old-fashioned myself. [What had Tony said when he had knocked his style? Something about him wearing a spangly-outfit.] Guess people like the stars and stripes though.

[He frowns a little. Everyone's opinions should be taken into account; it's only fair.]

[You see that smile on his face? It's now showing off severely yellowed teeth amidst the scars, because that's... that's not the style he was talking about at all. But we can roll with this!]

Uniform... uniform... see, it's a little too bright for me... and not enough pockets. You gotta have pockets or it's no good.

[Pause. Then another suspicious leer.] Why are you wearing America.

I suppose so. [He shrugs.] I'm surprised SHIELD didn't try to recruit him for the mess in New York.

[Because Batman is definitely a superhero name. Right? Right? Steve is trying really hard now not to judge a book by it's cover but it's kind of hard. Especially with the smile. There's something a little... off about it.]

Well, that's what the belt is for. [He gestures at the utility belt around his middle. Plenty of pockets there.] I didn't design it. At least not this version of it, I based the last version off a different uniform. They're all pretty obvious though. It draws attention away from civilians.

[He frowns. It's not often he runs into someone who doesn't know him, particularly while he's in uniform.]
