My friend, I hold no contempt towards you for your actions here today.

While the stories I have heard regarding what happens to these...muses, as you call them...us, from the others have been nothing but negative, especially from the little grey one, I have faith in this endeavor.

It is not often I meet one unperturbed by my appearance enough that they would stick by me so closely. It is a promising experience regardless of what the future may hold in store for me.

So I will do as you say for as long as you feel the need to keep me around; it is the least I can do in exchange for another chance at life that you offer me here. My only objection would be to actions of the morally corrupt.

But I have hope that you are a better man than that.

Well, as you are housed within him, perhaps you may be privy of his disposition in regards to potentially nefarious plans.

I believe good fortune awaits those who are patient and wise enough to find it.

Even if our actions are dictated by them, they aim to avoid making us do anything we would not.

So I find all I need do is take the right course of action to avoid such unpleasantries.

That's a good philosophy, yet one that also ignores the possibility of being brought into circumstances that we may otherwise wish to avoid.

Consider, also, that there are many such places that will undoubtedly challenge your principles.

I have no aversion towards conflict, if that is what you mean, as long as the reasoning for it is justified.

Self-defense, defending those who cannot defend themselves, vanquishing evil...in that scenario I will have no objections to raising my weapon.

If that is the case, I apologize. I haven't been exposed to those outside my own...kind [Not really the right word there.] for quite some time. They aren't much for conversation.
