My friend, I hold no contempt towards you for your actions here today.
While the stories I have heard regarding what happens to these...muses, as you call them...us, from the others have been nothing but negative, especially from the little grey one, I have faith in this endeavor.
It is not often I meet one unperturbed by my appearance enough that they would stick by me so closely. It is a promising experience regardless of what the future may hold in store for me.
So I will do as you say for as long as you feel the need to keep me around; it is the least I can do in exchange for another chance at life that you offer me here. My only objection would be to actions of the morally corrupt.
But I have hope that you are a better man than that.
