[Hi, d_m! In front of you is a something. It looks a little like a blue centaur, but without any mouth and with two extra eyes on the end of what might be very mobile horns and 7 fingers instead of two. Oh, and one more thing. A long, muscular tail with a wickedly sharp looking blade at the end, arched high over his back and held casually. It's a dangerous tail. It looks like it could do some real damage.

Having no mouth, he cannot exactly talk aloud. What he can (and does) do is talk inside your head, somehow.]

Just to make things a little weirder, those eyes on top of those horn things don't - they scan the area all around, automatically by now. It is very, very difficult to sneak up on an andalite.]

<I guess I'd like to know Loren - but that's almost a given. I do know her for almost all the canon that I'm actually involved in, and pulling me before I even become an aristh doesn't seem productive, because there isn't any real way to know for sure what I was like.

[ He eye-smiles because, well, the option is to do that or... whatever Andalites do to cry. But he droops a bit at that last part, too. ]

[Elfangor walks forward and raises his hand, for a moment using it to cup Ax's cheek. But this is, he realizes about a second after he does it, a very human gesture, so he drops his hand again and arches his tail to gently touch his blade to his brother's.]

Of course, had I brought you with me, or given you a fighter, I doubt you would have lived. So perhaps it was not a mistake after all.>

[ The gesture surprises him enough that he falters for a second, slow to touch his brother's blade. ]

[ He'd rather not answer that question. He's still not sure what he thinks of Ellimists, but his brief encounters with them hasn't exactly been encouraging. Besides, there's something more important to address.

He bows his head and thought-speaks slowly and softly. ]

[If he were a human there would be so much awkward throat-clearing. As things stand Elfangor mostly looks away, except for one stalk eye, and tries not to sort of shuffle his hooves.

Until the tail end of that last statement, which surprises him so much that he takes a few steps backwards reflexively.

[Elfangor isn't quite sure what to do, if he should run or stay or pace or what but run sounds kind of good except this is Aximili here and that probably wouldn't be the best thing, to run from your own brother.
