How do you do, mun? I do not wish to go to one of these 'worlds' that you have been looking at but I shall trust you. I trust you because it feels like we've met before, a very long time ago.
Because they'll find you a game that, on the surface appears like a good time, or at least like a good idea for a vacation.
Then before you know it, they'll sign you up for some plot that will either be humorous your expense, or come at the risk of you needing some time at the clinic or hospital.
And this is all without a 'by your leave'.
...My mun's calling me cynic. That maybe so, but this is just going off my experience in these so called 'games' as she likes to refer to them.
First time, I got a few nasty ones along my side and my arm. Then had a few deep ones into my upper left leg-even when I got out of the cast, it was still sore for a week or two.
There was also this one plot where we thought we were sent home-I can't even begin to tell you those injuries, though I do recall a few broken ribs.
Actually, that last one doesn't really count because what we thought was home was just an elaborate coma-when we woke up, none of the injuries remained.
ooc: what'd you think? Remember they accept animated PBs
Goodness! Your mun has put you through alot. I'm certain that if you make your feelings known that your mun would listen. It's too cruel for her not to.
[ooc: I'm definitely considering it! My activity is going to be a little patchy for the next week or so due to real life priorities but I should be good to go from next week.]
Her explanation is that since I'm a fighter (in a literal and figurative sense) I should be able to take what's thrown at me.
And the thing is-she's right.
ooc: Yay! I actually just sent in an app for another character yesterday: Anne of Cleves from The Tudors-now I'm just waiting Why do I see Sonya turning momma bear over Aurora?
Soldier actually. It's true I've studied and trained in combat, but I belong to my country's army which makes me a soldier.
[She smirks] This is where me and the mun agree: I'm a woman, and can be a lady when the time calls for it...just don't think you can give me a challenge and expect for someone to finish it for me.
ooc:just a fair warning-it's not unusual for first time muns to be rejected when they send in an app for a pup. It's happened to nearly all of us in the game-it helps to have a beta look over it to see what's missing.

But, I think I get what you mean.

They'll do nice things, and to be fair, the world I'm in now is a lot safer than back home-which is saying something.
Still, they'll put you through a dangerous or even embarrassing plot because according to them, it's 'character building'.

Small mercies.
Maybe you'll get lucky and your mun won't treat you like some dancing puppet.

Oh, she's not...but when she does get the time for such plots, she makes sure they leave an impression.
Seriously, I've the scars to prove it.
ooc: still giving the comm a looksie?
