They will not suffer over my absence, and I know you would not take me from them without cause. Don't worry over how you will fare at our destination, either. You have friends there, and I am here, and we will do this together.

But before we go, I do have something I wish to say. Not to you- well, not just to you. To anyone who needs to hear it, whether they're in here or out there where you are. Will you allow me to, please? I won't demand it - this is not Tycoon, I know, and I am no princess here - but it would be nice.

Well then! I wasn't expecting you to allow it quite so easily. Perhaps I ought to have rehearsed this... Whoever reads this - please know that whoever you are, whichever side of this screen you are on, you are loved. You are needed and important, and the world would be darker without you. Someone's world would be darker without you. Even if things are difficult, please believe that it will get better one day. If you're like Miss Mundane, one of the people who brought so many of us here, I hope that we are able to bring you happiness - it's why we are here, isn't it? If you have been brought here, like I have, then please remember that you would never have been brought here if you didn't bring joy to someone's life. I wish you safe travels and hope that you can find something here that you never could back home. I wish all of you every happiness in the world, but if wishing isn't enough then I hope at least that you never once believe that you are alone.

It is discouraging, that they forget the light within them, especially when remembering it is what allows them to carry on through difficulty.

Everyone has a little trouble remembering, every now and then. It's difficult to believe that one has worth, sometimes. And it sometimes seems easier to believe that there's no hope left than to fight for the hope that exists. But it's nothing to worry about, it just means they need to be reminded how much they mean to the people around them.

It may be especially difficult when there are enemies that attempt to convince them of the same. It is why it is important to stand together with one's allies.

My allies and I are a successors to the Warriors of Dawn, sworn to protect the world and its crystals from those who would harm it.

Cosmos is the Goddess of Harmony. Her warriors were sent to find the crystals that had been crafted from her power.

I see. Perhaps that was before our time, or after it. The crystals my allies and I protected were not crafted by any deity.

From people. The crystals are formed from people's hopes and courage, their desire to learn and to care for others.

All people possess the crystals' essences within them, I think. But yes.

There are an awful lot of people in the world, and only a few of them are trained to fight. If they all fought, there would be a lot of casualties.

Everyone possesses the crystals' essences, but only a few protect them.

There were no civilians in our battle. The only ones in that world were the ones called to fight.

Oh, I'm sure we can find some compromise. Perhaps a trouble rota. I can get into trouble on mondays, wednesdays and fridays, and she can have tuesdays, thursdays and saturdays.

That sounds like a plan. It'll do them good to see more of the world than Bal and their forest, and maybe they'll help him remember to check in more often.
