Another lost world, and another place you expect me to set up a steading and care for those there. At least this one isn't in Faerie... But it looks like wizards were let loose. Something that allows men -- normal men and women -- to 'borrow'? Utter foolishness. And look what it's wrought.

You're right. That place does need a witch, and a hefty dose of common sense, which seems to be most poorly lacking here.

But the Chalk needs me more. [Firm in this. Ah well.] But demands must be met.

And they'll need someone who doesn't need technology to get by. A midwife who needs no forceps, nor a healer who needs no 'ibuprofen'. [and there will be the dead, who need seeing to. always.]
