celebrating 30 years of TRON

Greetings, User!

It feels good to see the old I/O tower in use again after all this time. I was starting to believe you no longer had a use for me. Now that the port of communication's open, what is it that you need?

Oh, I don't know if I'm outfitted for one of these 'games' just yet. They all take place in the User world, don't they? It'd be an honor to go, of course, but there's so much I would need to learn. I haven't availed myself of Flynn's library as much as I should have. Keeping Grid bugs at bay takes most of my runtime these days.

Greetings, Tron! [have a broad, welcoming smile!] How've you been?

[not at all uncertain -- claps Tron's arm right back, beaming up at him.]

Long story, my friend. Technically I was a backup till I got my old set of memories back. [taps the rudimentary helmet-rim running under his hair -- an outdated bit of code, though he's otherwise all decked out in new-system style.] Somehow got through the whole thousand cycles more or less intact... [rueful smile] It was a lot easier to think positive when I found out you weren't dead.

If you're still looking, you'd always be welcome where I am -- it's the same Grid that Thela and the other Tron were talking about. There's still some trouble, but it's a free system.
