Kid it’s not like I can't understand.
You saw what we were doing on the big screen and probably think it was so "cool" working for the facility, but in reality you have no idea.
You don't know the hardships we had to go through, preparing each ritual, selecting the victims and cleaning up after whatever the fuck they had awoken.
Do you think we enjoyed it? We didn't. We just pushed aside all moral objections because we saw the bigger picture. We did what we had to do for the world to keep turning each day.
Just put me to one side and get on with your other games.

We operated on a trial and error process. Learn from any mistakes from the previous year and strengthen the system.

Maybe you're right. Nothing good can last forever.
But you know what?, we at least we got over hundreds of years worth of existence out of it and at least achieved a form of stability and happiness from it.
This is why I don’t regret any of it for a god damn second.
