voice testing this sulky jerk

Just so we're entirely clear on this: You do not need an icon of me rolling around on the floor shirtless, and no I do not do it all the time.

And just for the record? There is a difference between undergoing involuntary bodily spasms due to being electrocuted and "rolling around".

Charming.

I think I'd rather you did, too, as a matter of fact.

...yeah, ah. The black market I mentioned. Werewolves are the most popular thing for humans to want to try to become--they pay good money for hearts, even bits of the soul, to put in themselves for a lark, or soldiers in private armies. I'm sure you know the tactical advantages. Trouble is, it doesn't always take. A human doesn't know how to handle the strength, the aggression, and even if it works, it kills them eventually.
rainfading: (are you strong enough for this?)

I do. I'm half-Filipino; if I didn't eat lechón, my mother would disown me from beyond the grave.

Yes. Most of the remaining population has gone to the mountains in Kurdistan, which is where the strongest witches are from. Don't tell me some of your folk want to out themselves?
rainfading: (pretty please.)

[ Which would be interesting, with this extremely citified girl in her Prada shoes, but she's always game for new things. ] Yes. And you know you're going to have to hang out with me [ and her girls, like Cher!! ] sometime beyond the fourth wall too, right? Since we all get along so well.

Let me guess, they're young.

[ yes you ancient recently 23-year-old professional thief, your good sense and maturity are clearly legendary ]

Fair warning: when I travel with my friends we tend to attract trouble. Even when we don't mean to. I think it's one of those supernatural gifts they don't tell us about.

I see you hassling that cute little thing up there, what is he, thirteen and a half?

Well. Then there should be no problem at all.

How does that work?
rainfading: (what did i find?)

Does that make his errant wolves your responsibility? Since I take that to mean you're the man in charge these days.

That's how we work, too. I hope he understands how that's good for him.

Only witches are supposed to look after everyone else; faqra, the sort I am, don't really...uh, we're territorial, I guess, so we'll have other sorts of witches and other kinds of supernatural people around. But not each other, not in person.

People say it makes us bossy, but I dispute that.

It's more people than places. I travel too much--our handler is always telling me "Eve, why don't you actually work a real town for a few months?" --oh, that's my name, by the way. Yvette, but Eve is easier to remember.

And technically I guess we're raised to believe wherever we are is our territory. Little proprietary, I guess, but I imagine it's different when you're a werewolf and landed in one spot?
