Guess What the Mun Saw Today?
Dear Mun,
I know, right? I know! It was awesome.
The story, the quipping, the action! I understand why you were so giddy. And hey, it's okay to love the old ones AND this one. New Me might have the tiniest bit of an advantage, what with the snarkiness and jokes, maybe.
...Speaking of funny, I laughed at you wondering why I'd still want to kiss her while seriously injured. Obviously, you are not and have never been a teenage boy.
Thanks for not fangirl-squeeing all over the theater, though. That would've been embarrassing.

[Spidey squats down to child eye level.]
You out here all alone? Where's your mom and dad?
no subject
Oh well uh....my mom's off at work and I don't have a dad...
[Onto more important things.]
Are you really Spider man?
no subject
[He stands up and strikes the pose in the icon.]
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, at your service.
no subject
[Yup, it's spider man. Inner fan boy squee, go! They say dogs can hear this frequency.]
That's so cool! Do you...do you think I could get an autograph?

Want to hear a joke?
no subject
Sure. I can always use another one in my arsenal.

I'm just glad she's not angsting over it anymore. A guy can only take so much worrying over "will it be okay? will they screw it up?"

Can't really blame them for being nervous. It would be a shame to ruin something amazing--which, rumors say, is what Spider-Man is.

Aw, shucks, Tony. You're making me blush.

I just kind of gave her a "duh" look at that one. Hormones, man. Just... hormones.

No worries. This mun likes both versions. She was just watching you the other night, actually.

Nice to see my moves on the big screen, anyway. Even if I couldn't watch the ending.
no subject
Yeah, me neither. I kept wondering if the movie makers were confusing all the subgenres of outcast - nerds, hipsters, skaters, loners. It gives me a little whiplash.
The ending? You mean the stuff after the credits? Did your theater have tech issues or something?
no subject
Nah, I mean -- you know. Captain Stacy. Don't tell me you didn't find that hard to watch.
no subject
One of two really hard things to watch in that movie.
