[Sephiroth smiked and parried each of Gen's blows with his red blade. He was strong in his sword arm but not strong enough.]

I thought we were getting warmed up. [He closed his eyes for an instant before running towards Genesis, then spinning around the aiming Masamune at his shoulder blade.]

[Angeal smiled. Zack’s enthusiasm always seems to be infectious sometimes, not that he would admit that of course.]

Good. I’ll get Genesis on the ground. I want you to get behind him and aim for his back, don’t worry I’ll cover for you but you need to watch out for his fire attacks ok?

[With that he leapt into the air once again dodging both blows from the other firsts, he quickly grabbed Genesis’s arm and pulls him down towards Zack]

[Feeling Angeal pulling him down, Genesis calmly took stock of his reserves before he struggled. He had an Ether, but pride alone prevented him from taking it. He needed a rest and he was far too headstrong to declare it.]

Hero of the Dawn, healer of worlds...

[It was more a personal peptalk to himself than to the others. Sephiroth came at him hard and fast, just as the redhead expected, just as he had hoped the man would be in all respects.]

Yeeesss... Fuck, yes!!

[He countered with everything he had, appreciating the melee practice, conserving his fire for now.]

The freedom of flight not appeal to you today, Angeal? [He asked cheerfully with the raised of an arched brow.]

[With the redhead splitting his concentration between Sephiroth and Angeal, Zack saw his 'in,' eagerly slicing his SOLDIER-issue blade toward Gen's back as his teacher had instructed.

Genesis leapt out of the way when he felt the blade cut the air near his hair and whirled around disorientedly, launching a fire ball in the boy's general direction.

Zack threw himself to the ground to lie on his belly, being narrowly missed by the flame due to his reflexes.]

[Hearing Genesis use strong language, Sephiroth could tell his friend was in his element. Excitement coarsed through the general's veins as he saw the fireball head towards the puppy's direction.

Smirking, he focused back on the red head as he launched another spinning attack in middair, Masamune a glint of the eye as he cut down at Gen's sword.]

Has enough yet, Genesis?

Yes it does appeal to me Genesis, but then it would be unfair to Zack.

[Angeal gave Genesis a glare that said no rude language in front of the puppy. However that scowl gave way to pride as he saw Zack make a good move towards Genesis’s back only to see him nearly singe his puppy. After giving Zack a quick glance and seeing he was alright he turned his attention back to Genesis]

Genesis! Be careful!

[Annoyed he blocked Genesis’s view of Zack and swung his blade at the annoying red head as Sephiroth also attacked]

[Attempting to deflect both blows the way Sephiroth often did was the first thing that came to mind. Genesis blocked vertically, catching one successfully but missing the other, the end near Masamune's tip proving to be too narrow for him to connect with.

A ripping of material was heard and he felt the sleeve of his coat torn away from its shoulder. At first, Genesis' eyes narrowed in irritation but then, a humored thought occurred to him and he simply had to share it.]

If you wanted to see me naked, Angel, this was certainly the way to go... that or a nice dinner maybe.

[He playfully clashed swords with the general again, before arcing Rapier to deliver a kiss to his agitated best friends' blade.]

There, there, Angeal. You are alright, aren't you, Pup?

[Zack pulled himself to his feet before scratching his head.]

[After assessing the lack of damage, he stood beside Angeal in battlestance.]

I'm here to help take you down!

[Trust Genesis to utter those words. And in front of Angeal and Zack too. Sephiroth smiled to himself.]

Always the showman, Genesis. [Sephiroth delivered a flurry of quick sword movement aimed towards Genesis in an arching motion. His left hand was deadly as he matched each swish of his blade with eye contact.]

[He pushed against Genesis blade and dodged as Sephiroth came in fast. Without thinking for himself he shoved Genesis out of the way of the blade before it did more than rip his clothes. He suppressed a wince as Sephiroth’s blade cut his arm as he went to the side.]

Nice move. Really Genesis you shouldn’t tempt him like that. Puppy are you ok?

[Genesis shrugged easily, smiling.]

It was merely wishful thinking. Are you alright, Angeal?

[He placed a gloved hand on the dark First's arm, not taking too long to inspect the wound as he had to maintain at least the semblence of focus.]

You know when Sephiroth sets his mind to something, he doesn't easily relent. Perhaps I should let his have his way with me... shouldn't I, Angel?

[He winked at Sephiroth playfully.]

[Having clapped Angeal on the back to let him know that he was alright and his spiky head was still in the game, he whined urgently as he noticed the dark man's wound.]

Ugh, get a room, you two!! Teach, you okay?

[Sephiroth smirked at Gen's words.] Perhaps I should teach you some manners, Genesis. Beat it into you.

[He held Masamune behind his back in a submissive pose. He was waiting for Gen's next attack. Almost egging him on towards the silver general.] Let's see what you've got, Rhapsodos.

It’s nothing. Don’t worry about it. [He moved Genesis’s hand of his arm and moved over to Zack, and patted the puppy’s head.]

Go on Genesis, maybe you should try and beat him. Then you can have your way with him [he added jokingly idly as he decided to stay with Zack as he was trying to focus his attention elsewhere.]

[Genesis' aura flared as he called his power of flame, eager to please.]

Have my way with him? That's a very tempting challenge, Angeal. What do you think, Angel? [Genesis asked coquettishly as he rushed Sephiroth, his cheeks flushing with the thought.]

Would you let me have my way, hm? [A clash of blades, his fireballs following close behind, circling around behind Sephiroth before closing in.]

[When faced with his mentor's undivided attention, Zack stood close to him overexcitedly.]

Someone needs to learn some manners. [He held Masamune in front of him to block Gen's incoming fire. He formed a charge, heading towards the red head. He smirked to himself as he made a split second choice and jumped into the sky before going for a dive at Gen.]

Yes puppy, you did really well. I’m proud of you. [He gave Zack a proud look and wrapped his good arm around the younger man’s shoulders]

I don’t think it would be wise to interrupt them now, so we better just watch for the moment. Who do you think will win puppy?

[Azure eyes watched Sephiroth soar through the air, eyebrows lifting slowly as he felt his heartbeat quicken. With Masamune so close, he took a huge risk that he would never take if this were not a spar with his friends. With a morbid curiosity to see what the angel would do, Genesis opened his arms to Sephiroth, knowing this would either end with the best embrace that the redhead could ever ask for, or the most bloody. He left it up to Sephiroth to choose his preference: a hug from the mighty Sephiroth or Masamune's kiss.

The redhead never could do anything small. Thank the gods for Cure and materia. Either way, Genesis would take great pleasure in it.]

"Sephiroth... all the way... Genesis has a total boner for him."

[Zack blushed as he felt Angeal's presence so close to him as well. The fact that he had just said 'boner' to Angeal didn't escape him either. Angeal was the one who gave him a boner...]

"Sorry I said 'boner.'" [He shuffled his feet nervously.]

[Sephiroth saw Genesis holding his arms away from his body in a submissive pose. He wanted Sephiroth to hit him? He smirked. So bold. He came full force towards Genesis with Masamune held at full height. If Genesis didn't move, the blade would pierce right through his heart. He hurtled towards the red head only stopping a fraction before his beating heart. The tip of his blade only millimeteres away from piercing his shirt.]

No one needs to die today. Hmph. [He sheathed Masamune and smirked at Genesis.]

[Seriously with the three of them, he wondered if he had grey hairs already. It wouldn’t be a surprise if he did, especially with the stress they caused on a everyday basis. He gave Zack a stern glare, but still kept his hand on the younger mans shoulder.]

If the two of you are going to still continue fighting, can you at least not end up killing each other?

[Genesis couldn't decide whether to smirk or to pout.]

You would miss me when I'm gone, is that it, Angel?

[He lowered his sword arm, allowing his lady Rapier to rest.]

Shame. Not that I am still breathing of course, but it was the dramatic ending I was looking for. Will you not come here and embrace me to make up for it? I will stand down, Angeal, if my angel will accept my... hug. [He sighed rather dreamily.]

[Zack's shoulder relaxed under his teacher's touch, his point about boners also being illustrated here and now in more than just Genesis... unfortunately. He hoped Angeal wouldn't notice or loudmouth redhead over there...

His eyes shifted to Sephiroth nervously, hoping he could count on the discretion the Silver General had always showed.]

[Sephiroth smiled and couldn't resist. So what if it were in front of the others. A harmless embrace was an honourable show of affection after two warriors sparring. Only Genesis could take it THAT way.] You fought well, Genesis.

[He accepted the embrace as he wrapped both arms around the red head and hugged him tightly.]
