Dear child, surely you cannot be surprised, no matter the interpretation, the events are set, and no amount of hoping could ever change it. Few, if any, ever escape the consequences of life and destiny, and there always comes a time where even the most glorious of ages come to an end.
A good tale is both blessing, and curse - one can't help but grow attached to the characters - and those cuts can run deep. The sooner you learn this, the quicker you can move on, and you'll be the stronger for it.
There are things to do, and dwelling on what ifs and buts is a waste of time, you don't have forever, and I refuse to be one of those muses who are called for a whim, then forgotten.

I find that drama makes it all the more interesting, but I can do without the emotional hysteria.
Common sense can be a rare commodity.

And, my Handmaiden, what concern is it of yours, the hysterics of one human child?

[Given that the current novel is Changes...]

[Ahh yes, there's a lot important in that one, good Lea cameos]

[And the best nicknames.]
It's as if you've entered an accord where the terms change with their whims.

[And a wonderful look into both Lea and Mab's powers, but if we're honest I love just about every book to death]
I have entered no accord with mine. Occasionally they must be reminded with blinding pain. [read: migranes of which she is convinced she has some control]
Our schedules are rather bad for this.
I'm sure you'll find a use for them regardless. [Even if it's only as cannon fodder.]
And I am not surprised that you have wrested some measure of control, regardless of your position.
LOL too true. Sorry about that
Yes, free will and using common sense are rare, but then again those without cannot rebel either.
With time I will find more. I can be patient.
Don't be! It's just what it is.
Not so rare that they cannot provide some challenge. There's never reason for complacence, or stasis - which is much more likely.
You have much more of that, my queen.
Swing shift: making my rp a little slower day by day
More patience?
Oh, ouch,
That, and time itself. You may just end up out waiting the mortal child.
LOL good pay though
Too true, she will be dust and ashes before long.
