Voice re-test. It's been a while.

I have no idea what a 'headcanon-based canonpoint' is, but if it means you won't be sending me anywhere... Then, this one time, you knowing more than I do is acceptable.

A headcanon-based canonpoint, generally speaking, is a point in time in which your mundane has decided the details of what happens to you as opposed to the canon source.

[There. Now he has an idea. As for how Lohengrin knows, it's practically all the poor guy gets when there's not internal fourth-wall breaking.]

It goes about as well as anything concerning mundanes.

[He shrugs one shoulder.]

Not very well for me, no. My mundane says she can't help it.

Has your mundane given you any idea of what will happen?

Indeed she can. But she wants to use what she's found for my name and opera is not kind to its characters.

No news is good news, then? It would be senseless to think the other way around.

My actual canon doesn't have much backstory for me, not even a name unless the knight is the original owner of the Sword of Lohengrin. So my story is the same as Lohengrin's: fated to defend the Lady Elsa's honor, spend one day as her bridegroom, the rest of my life her widower.

My mundane says operas don't tend to have happy endings.

There is a place I might go. She wants to talk to the other mundanes in my canon to make sure they're fine with her decisions. The mundane playing my reincarnation seems to be just fine with it.

And that's only what happens before canon. The author is a lover of tragedy.

Thank you. I hope your mundane's plans are more...generous than mine.
