But the fact of the matter is that if I'm going to be stuck on some backwater planet and freshly thawed out - which you so lovingly call it - at least make it seem a little plausible.

Since when have I ever done anything legitimate and gotten something as ridiculous as a pilot's license. Go ahead, see if I actually get a real job with it. I probably made the guy administering the test cr-

Oh, now I get it. Good job, I guess?

Just because you've never done anything legitimate before doesn't mean you can't turn your life around now and try to make a difference.

I'm sure if there is a whole list, you can't be that bad. I've seen darkness before and I'm not exactly picking that up from you. Though, I would not doubt that you don't exactly place nice with order, right?

I'm not entirely certain I'm familiar with the concept of a "pilot's license" but I fail to understand how proper certification can possibly be a bad thing, especially if you, like so many other people in this strange place, have found yourself washed up on the shores of a metaphorical new world without familiar settings and institutions to keep you completely grounded in reality, or rather, the reality that you knew back at your point of origin, whatever that may be.

[She pauses to breathe.]

And what does "freshly thawed out" mean? Is that some kind of slang term? I'm terrible with slang.
