I'm sure you're a nice girl. If we just talked about this, we can probably agree on a nice compromise, right?

Like, maybe you DON'T send me to the memory loss game? I mean, they even call the arrivals heroes and I already lost a leg doing it last time. I'm not sure my luck really fits with that sort of thing.

And I'm sure we can agree that other game with the AU is just a terrible idea. Didn't you say you didn't want to send me in the first place because you didn't want to separate me from Toothless? I REALLY don't think having an AU where Toothless dies will make you feel better.

How about you just send me to museboxes? Or games where I'm home and there's some strange interdimensional communication thing. That'd be fun, actually! Let's do something like that. Or, even better, you just leave me alone. I'm really not that interesting, and I could-

Huh? Oh, well.

Actually, it is kind of cool. [Kind of embarrassed. Gosh, what is bragging.]

The short version would be I-well, Toothless and I. Toothless is my best friend-we defeated this huge mountain of a dragon. We did have help! But in the end we had to ignite the gas it used to make it's fire while it was still building. So it exploded in the end.

But we couldn't actually get away from the blast and... [Paaaause.] Toothless kind of...had to grab me by my leg so I didn't get incinerated. [And the mun likes that theory.] Dragons are pretty fireproof on the outside, so he protected me.

[Oh, you're asking about dragons, he's better with that then bragging!]

Yeah, a real dragon. Toothless is a Night Fury. He's not a very large dragon, but he's fast if not the fastest and you can barely see him at night with how dark his scales are.

He didn't exactly take it off so much as mangled it. At least, from what I heard. I kind of passed out. But he does have teeth. They're retractable. I think it's to protect them from his fire. His has a pretty explosive quality so if it went off on something near him, it'd probably damage his teeth.

Me father, he's missin' his left one, just like you. He didn't lose to it a dragon though, he lost it to a bear.

So he really does...[ She makes a vague gesture. ] spit fire?

Really? Maybe left legs are cursed. Gobber also lost his left leg. I haven't gotten to see any bears though. Do they sometimes eat limbs too or just swipe them off?

[Nods.] He does. It's really compressed so it comes out looking more white and bluish purple until it explodes and he's got highest shot limit of the dragons we know.

Besides the monstrous one, anyway.
