Kid, look. Fundamental difference that I'd say is too much to reconcile: you? Don't like conflict. You're not all that assertive. Me? I love fighting. I love going to some seedy cantina, crossing some slob's sad territorial boundaries, and getting into a brawl. I'm not a mindless hothead, I don't pick fights in my squadron or on my 'side', but I don't exactly bow down to them either. Hell, when I took the throne I took that bastard and ran with it, never mind what the nobles said. I am not a puppet Princess - or Empress, for that matter.

Now, I'm not saying you gotta change. What works for me isn't going to work for most people, women or not. I'm saying you'd have a lot of trouble doing anything with me. And you know that.
