Why do you keep on insisting that I talk to people who are painfully inferior? When you can obviously see that I am busy conducting important research and experiments for the name of science and for ShinRa.

Maybe if you stopped that I can actually get some of my work completed.

But... Wouldn't using the planet for an energy source be detrimental to the health of the planet and its atmosphere? Making it uninhabitable for human life?

Taking the energy source from the planet is a necessary. The health of the planet is however regrettable, but it is of no consequence.

How isn't it of consequence? Just the fact that a planets health suffers is terrible.

Like I said it is a regrettable side effect. But soon when I have completed my research I will use the planets energy to create a new better planet.
