I've given her nearly two weeks to thing about this, I've actually almost been nice about it which is an entertaining thought.

At this point I'll make a call instead of sitting around and going crazy, slowly, with all the paragons she has lying around.

Paragons, people who feel the need to be good and help out everyone with a sob story. I think you're missing terminology, of course I don't expect that much from most humans as short a lived race as you are.

No, and sometimes humans surprise me. But for the most part all it has done is get you in trouble, trouble which most don't understand because of their ignorance and arrogance.

But that's not what really irritates me. Humans only live a hundred years, it's a passing thought to dwell on them. It's their indecision with perfectly good choices.

Perhaps in your galaxy, but the average human lifespan is about a hundred and fifty at the top end here. Even then, after about seventy they tend to slow down. I make it a priority to know how long it'll be before my associates need to be replaced.

I have a bone to pick with a human organization and I think violence will be a good solution to the issue. They seem to forget that if they push their way in that the people they threatened might want revenge.

That and humans seem to be the ones making my life particularly difficult currently. In six hundred years I haven't had any issues until now, so I might be a little irked.

The bastards already tried to open fire on my ship once before. Something that Shepard told me likely stemmed from a desire to dismantle the ship and crew that just survived a trip through time and space in the middle of an unstable event horizon.

Sounds about right, they tend to like to strike at the most inopportune times and it doesn't matter how many are killed as long as they get what they want in the end.

Likely they wanted to take your ship and study it for its design and rebuild something of their own with similar technology. They're all about getting one step ahead of everyone else and that will cost them.

The only reason Starfleet vessels are so advanced is because of the perspectives brought to design and research by numerous human and non-human engineers alike.

My own vessel's population is only fifty-three percent human.

From what I've heard kicking around some of the Turians had an interesting idea to team up with humans to start redesigning ships. Can't say I blame them, my station has been being built and re-built for the past half millennia. Sometimes you just need to agree some races are more advanced than others.

Well, thanks. Starfleet's done me nothing but good. And I agree, sometimes some races just are naturally more developed in aspects.

That's why the Equinox and its ship class are the most advanced ships in Starfleet now, and as the last in the series, the Equinox herself is one of the most advanced in the line.

You know, if you need a place to at least set root down, Shepard and I are interacting through a musebox that makes such dimensional shenaniganry possible, and it seems that what was upcoming for my ship and crew is a need to stay out of Citadel and Alliance space for the moment.

At a place like Omega. Could be interesting.

If you're looking for somewhere that both that idiot council and the Alliance can't touch you then Omega would be the place. Although, if I allow you to hide on my station what is your proposal as a bargain?

I don't just let every sob story walk onto my station and start messing with my order. I don't guarantee any of your safety, if your crew members die or end up in the wrong place, it's not my problem what happens to them.

You're the one who's said Omega's had to be built, rebuilt, expanded and renovated dozens of times. Are you really sure you wouldn't see the value in assisting a crew and ship carrying nearly a hundred engineers of numerous species, all of whom have access to Starfleet's entire engineering library to help renovate and improve Omega's technical systems?

My crew aren't stupid or inexperienced, and if they do get hurt then it reflects on those who hurt them and myself, not on you. After all, I wouldn't be expecting the quietest or most peaceful of places if it's a place that remains outside the general authorities.

Good guess, Omega is unique. Our centre of trade and commerce is unlike anywhere else in the galaxy.

Stations require a level of repair unless you want entire districts to be suffocated because one of the field generators broke and everyone had their lungs turned inside out from exposure to vacuum.

I could see your engineers being beneficial to building and integrating some new systems into the old.

But I've given you your warning about it. The only thing I can promise there is that Alliance and Counsel forces have no jurisdiction in the terminus systems.

Warning accepted. All I'd expect is to be able to shelter my ship at Omega until such a time as the Citadel is more open to diplomacy than straight up dismantling and research like Cerberus ... and the usual protection engineering teams get when working on Omega systems. Other than that, my crew can and will police themselves.

You might be waiting a while if you're hoping they'll pull their heads out of their asses to consider something like diplomacy to anything unfamiliar.

If your engineers are working on Omega for me then there shouldn't be any issues. If there are, then I will deal with them.

Other than that, we're pretty much set with Omega. If I have to, I'll just deal with you, cut them out, and offer what I can in order to get the resources my ship needs to get back home.

If you want resources then you'll find them in the Terminus Systems. I can't say much for other areas but there are dockyards that do good work discreetly. If you know who to threaten.

Those are fair and just demands. It sounds like you need a place that has few boundaries. You don't want to feel suffocated and bound by too many rules.

A "dressing room", or something equally as open sounds like a better opportunity. If you want sustainable interaction, I'd avoid meme-related communities. They're good... for occasional threading. But it all depends what you and your mun are hoping to get out of the experience.

There are a certain amount of rules that are needed, just to make sure everything isn't complete chaos. As much as that can be entertaining in itself, it gets old and fast.

I'd say those meme communities are something you get thrown into for a change of pace, at least from what I've seen of them. Can't be bothered with too many of them, I'll be blunt but I believe the mun merely wants somewhere I can interact with others and stop harassing her. Of course, it needs an infrastructure that won't have me so completely bored that I start wanting to kill most of the people there. I'll be sure to pass on what you've said.

Well there's that. If everyone had their way, we might end up with another Saren situation on our hands. Rules in moderation works - as long as the power distribution is balanced.

They work really well for certain people and circumstances. Good friends, comrades, even enemies could find some use delving into meme communities every once in a while. Solid interactions are harder to come by, but worth it if you find a great selection of people to work with you if you go that extra mile.
