No, I'm not going to complain about the name. You were thinking of two, and at least this option has some class. You know, as opposed to really bad puns.
...Irony? All right. If you say so.

<3! Erik! Such fun to see folks around!
[ Still amused, since she does know what it references, but her theory has such potential! ]
Or it could just be about bad jokes in general. [ In a conspiratorial whisper: ] She has some pretty awful ones, but I think she likes it when people groan.
We must always have more!
Your mun sounds like someone else I know. But you seem like you can handle the clowning around.
Heh, yes, maincast and countless not-so-maincast, more everywhere!
[ More of a grin now, and a shrug of her shoulders while her hands turn palm-side up and she looks off to the side. ]
I can't imagine who!
[ Before she looks back up at him. ]
You bet I can. Makes life more fun that way! Though if we're talking circuses, I always liked the trapieze better. What about you? Oh, and you're up for... winter? Early spring? Late summer dusting? [ Another shrug. It all applies somewhere on the globe! ] Where're you planning to go?
[ A pause. ]
Anywhere exciting?

[His smile fades under his grimace at that.]
Not my kind of 'game', but if it's going to happen, I'd rather be there to help.
[Well that turned him serious fast. He shrugs, looks a little sheepish then as if to counteract his previous expression.]
And, uh, magic tricks. Disappearing acts and stuff.

[ She really doesn't mean to sound excited, and she honestly isn't, but the idea is kind of -- interesting. Different than the new sort of 'monster' floating around where she's at. ]
Helping each other out is one of the better things any group of people can do. Pretty sure they'll appreciate whatever help you can give.
[ She snorts, then laughs at his answer concerning magicians. ]
Those are pretty cool, if I'm kind of fond of magically appearing pigeons out of cloaks.

They never run out of ideas, that's for sure. How about you - what have they put you up against so far?
[Pigeons, huh?]
Hey, nothing beats surprise animals, as long as you get them all out in one piece.

Ah, not too much, had my soul ripped out and left in animal form [ yes this is kind of ironic and amuses her on several levels ] after falling into a world that links up to all sorts of places.
[ She might still be smiling, but it's more serious now. ]
Other than the soul-eating baddies and the Company hosting us and who knows what else is going on, it's pretty tame so far. Getting home's... a little problem, but not for long.
[ She doesn't want to dwell on that. Not knowing? Not knowing is the worst. ]
On the upside, I'm not a half-crocodile girl for the rest of my life, so I've got that going for me!
[ To his last statement, she grins, still carrying more of that solemn edge from before. It's almost funny, in a not so funny way. ]
Something like that. Healthy, hale, and happy, right?
