Voice-Testing Like A Boss
A cautious soul, aren't you? [He gives a weary, tired chuckle.] No, truly Mundane, it's refreshing. Not too many are these days.
It proves that you know what you are getting yourself into.

Master Kenobi. Time... soon it will be. Skywalker's children, age, they do.

[He hums thoughtfully.] Soon Emperor's reign - an end it will have.

[Yoda sounds calm, but Obi-Wan would know him well enough to feel the underlying tension there. He still carries the sadness of what happened at the temple.]

I know, that had things had been different, this would not be the path Anakin would choose for his children. He would not want them to be Jedi, even with their great potential... [He trails off with a sigh.]

Good it isn't to dwell on "might-have-beens." Your heart, aches for him does it still? Forced your hand, he did. Choice you did not have.

[He straightens.]
You'll have to forgive my tendency to dwell; it came with old-age, apparently.

When 900 years, you age... speak about 'old' you can.
no subject
Yes, of course.

[Because let's face it, is Yoda ever done teaching?]

I will do my best to be a good student. [He dips his head, a new smile coming to his lips.]

...Things. I don't - there's a lot of Jedi there, 'cause the Empire doesn't exist yet.

Ben - they say [And glancing around, making sure no one suspicious is close enough to overhear] They say you're actually a Jedi.

[His expression is perfectly calm, serene, not revealing a thing.] Who told you this?
no subject
Anakin - Anakin Solo. I guess he's... my nephew from the future? Something like that.

...and, um, there's people from the past.

They're Senator Amidala and Jedi Skywalker. You know.
I don't know what to do. I mean, I've talked to a bunch of people, but I still...

Not face to face. Well, the Senator face to face. She's - nice. [And Luke has no idea what to do with her, plus there's the fact that she flirted teasingly with him before someone jumped in.]
You pretty much win forever. JUST SAYIN'.
A shame my mun isn't that cautious. She finds something that intrigues her and off she goes. [Disapproving frown.] Usually drags me with her.
D'awwwwww. /blushes
Often like a Master with their Padawan, would you not agree? [There's a smile to his voice.]

welp.
The awkward moment
Though at least it isn't quite as boring as I would have expected. I would like to see a little more action, however.

I messed up, Ben. It's my fault.

[This is not a well-crafted report, more a babble.] They... the Rebels sent me to Jazbina to talk to the king, and he said that if I saved his daughter from bandits he'd support us some, so I went into the crystal mines and my goggles broke, because I had to fight a tikulini, and... I found the bandits, and the princess.
[It was in a sun crystal mine, so when he ignited his lightsaber...]
But they weren't bandits. Ben... I should've been more careful. I should've listened! It was a trap. They were the Rebel cell... I guess this [The blindfold, the hopefully-temporary blindness] was a good thing. At least I didn't kill any of them - the Force helped me fight. So when they broke out of the cell they took me with them.
But now Vader's on the planet and he's killed the king, and no one in the cell trusts me, and... I have to set it right somehow. I just...
