[someone's angry about last fate/zero episode]
That man! How could he do something like that to him? I don't care what personality was he wearing as shell at the time. Angra is still Angra! He suffered enough! [Protective of her Servant, isn't she? How could you choke him and break his heart, Emiya Kiritsugu? You said you would accept him, you lying cheat.]
I know that wish result was awful, mundane. [A sigh. Karen and she know him better than anyone.] There were other ways to reject it without harming my Avenger.
[Not to mention her wish was granted without world destroying consequences. What now?]

Maybe I should introduce myself again. I'm Bazett Fraga McRemitz and I was Lancer's real Master before he was stolen from me.
no subject
You already know who I am, but I'm Shirou. Nice to-- [wait a second] --Lancer's real Master? [that blue spearman that Kotomine lost to Assassin and the Shadow...]
Kotomine stole him from you?
no subject
Kotomine left me for dead. [She says bitterly.] Angra saved my life... I was dying and I wished to live. He granted my wish. The "thing" you spoke is the reason why I live. You're too quick to judge his existence, Shirou.
no subject
....
[it's just as Kotomine said. what gave Shirou the right to judge what wasn't even born? who could say that it was evil before it'd even come to fruition? and yet it was out there, killing people, taking Saber away from him and--]
...
I'm sorry, Bazett. Between Zouken and Avenger, they've caused Sakura to suffer so much and so many people died because of the curse inside the Holy Grail. To you, Angra Mainyu is your saviour. To me, he's an enemy. Sakura won't be free of him until I stop him.
no subject
[all her disapproval.]
Angra is... [she looks down, feeling the reminder of their departure weighting down her heart.] was probably evil, but he wasn't responsible for whatever you think happened in the Grail. He was absorbed and trapped inside of there without being able to choose but become what humanity wanted him to be. It wasn't enough they tortured him and made him like that, even after death they took away his will and consent.
He was only released to become my Servant.
no subject
I understand. [Bazett seemed like an honest person, and to speak so passionately about something as dark as the curse of the Grail... unfortunately, if he doubted himself for even a split moment, he would have already lost]
But...I have no other choice. I chose Sakura. I promised her that I would be her superhero. Angra Mainyu is using her to get out.
He can hate me for it all he wants to, but I'm going to save Sakura. No matter what.
no subject
[she squints in surprise. She seemed fine to her.]
Avenger's dead, Shirou. He sacrificed himself so others would live. [She smiles bitterly. She knows what will be his fate and how he'll return to his place under the mountain. She has accepted to let him go just as he carelessly smiled and went into the opposite direction of life.] Of all the people in the world, he would understand your feelings more than anyone.
[she does not share what shell he took until recently.]
I only ask you to stop blaming him with all your heart. Everyone else already curses him.
no subject
[while Bazett's smile is a bitter one, Shirou doesn't offer one in turn. but what really catches him by surprise is when Bazett says that of anyone in the world, Avenger would know his pain and feelings the most. it's enough to cause his gaze to visibly widen. how he has any relation to all the evils of the world...well. it's something worth talking about with Bazett sometime. if she moved in to his place and Sakura was still around, that meant that he must have succeeded... unless this was an alternate dimension altogether]
Bazett... [abrupt though their meeting was, he can tell that she's a good person. and as hard as it was to wrap his head around the embodiment of evil being someone decent...]
Okay. I won't. Besides, Zouken is also to blame for using Sakura like this.
Avenger may be something else to you, but I won't even think about what he is to me. I'll just do what I have to do.
no subject
Pay attention to this...
[Sends picture]
This is Servant Avenger. Do you understand now, Shirou?

He doesn't look like what I thought he would...

[she laughs at this, some good memories in that.]

I don't need to say further. He would understand your feelings and aspirations. That thing you were fighting against wasn't the real Angra. It must have been what humanity wanted him to become.
no subject
[brain starting to hurt. gah. he's Angra Mainyu? what? but if this Angra person was someone that Bazett could like...]
Huh...
no subject
[she grips her fist.]
Avenger would have been happy to live leisurely as you do everyday.

[It pisses her off. But he has accepted humanity as they are. He has hated, but he has also realized he has loved them all this time.]
Do you want to know the entire truth? It isn't going to be pleasant to hear. But you should learn about him.
1/2
what was the truth? what was the lie? did Emiya Shirou just not know the entire truth?
...
1.) Listen to Bazett's story
2.) Refuse ]
2/2
Tell me everything you know. [no matter how long the story may have been,] You're nice to listen to.

[so it begins the tale of that unfortunate man who is unable to rest, unable to die, as he exists to relief the burden the world has.
YOU KNOW the copy/pasted story in Bazett's words.]That is Angra.
no subject
.....
[Emiya Shirou gave up on his ideal to be a superhero, though he still valued the life of a select few over himself. Sakura being the most important one. to that end he could almost be seen as an empty person still. the scale of suffering was different, but the idea was the same. and yet...that was all that lead to Angra Mainyu becoming what he was? a boy that took on all the evil's of the world? who only knew of hatred and could only act through evil?]
..........
[the one who saved Bazett. the one who used Sakura in a bid to get out. the one who was bound by fate to be hated and blamed. that was exactly what Bazett was talking about.
"I only ask you to stop blaming him with all your heart. Everyone else already curses him."
he killed without discriminiation. that was what Shirou had said when first confronting Bazett.
it hurt. it hurt. it hurt. it hurt. it hurt]
Ah...
[but... no matter what Bazett had said, he told himself that he wouldn't falter]
Whatever he's become...he's still in the way. It doesn't matter whose responsible. What matters is that I take Sakura back.
Though if that's not the real Angra I'm fighting, it should be alright. I'll just blame humanity's wish of him instead. That's one less person to curse him.
no subject
She knows this. She wanted a miracle for him. But he tossed that way for her. For the sake of saving the world from the traces of the darkness that people smeared in his soul.
She has a sad smile at the conclusion, but she has accepted it.]
He wouldn't have wanted it any other way. [He doesn't blame. He accepts everything. That's the kind of evil he is.]
He'd have like to go back and build a portrait of the world into that void. A precious picture of the humanity he hates to love and loves to hate. That's something I understood when he told me to run towards the light as he ran into the opposite direction.
no subject
Hopefully he'll understand what I have to do more than anyone.
Maybe you'll see him again someday. The real Avenger.
1/2
[The wish of humanity wouldn't lead him to do that. It would be just like usual, twisted and manipulated by external forces.]
